Happy April Fools day...

This is my first one in a long while without Diary-x, so forgive me... On the D-X forums we used to keep track of all the web-jokes we found {and our opinions of them} so that others could see them. I thought maybe we could do that here!!!

Thinkgeek.com has yet again made a page of fake items on their home page - except the shirt. The shirt, like the last two years, is free with a purchase of $15. Last year it was an anagram shirt, the year before that it was all in binary {I may post a pic later of me with the binary shirt on, i do so love it!}. Anyone for a USB Tan?

http://www.Livejournal.com really didn't do a spectacular job this year... Pirates. yeah.

Google, as usual, made me happy. http://www.google.com/romance/
{if you click on the profile links, you will find links to the previous years jokes from them. pretty good i do think}

Neopets' joke this year is requiring players to pay a certain amount of neopoints just to exsist on the game. They have run out of good jokes {such as "hey, we got bought by Sanrio"}. oh well.

Kingdom of Loathing - If you go to the site... well, i'm actually amused. all the links lead you to the real KoL page, but some of the names of the links are hysterical if you are a player. ALSO
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the pickle factory is back in two forms, it appears where it usually is but you cannot click it. I have also heard rumors of it ghosting in other unoccupied map spaces if you are lucky enough to mouse over it click it!!!.
There is also a new Mr. A item {will it be a rare item just available today like last years Emo Roe was??? only time will tell}

Gamestop seems to have {we are hoping} joined in the fun

And in that we saw a link to Blizzard's joke...
I've also seen this as a Blizzard joke a day early - anyone who plays care to confirm or deny?

Wizards of the Coast did something right....

Sites that did something interesting last year and i'm still hoping for:
Bloody-disgusting.com
Ebay.com
either unfiction itself or argn did one that i have yet to understand {it went away before i had a chance to read most of it, but it was in depth}.

As you near the howling gates of the Spectral Pickle Factory, the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Then the hairs on the neck of your back stand up, and it really freaks you out, since you didn't know your back had a neck. The point is this: you're too scared to go into this Factory.

(You must have at least 150 Mysticality to adventure here.)

edit: Oh, and this.

I'm not sure if i've missed this somewhere on the forums:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
clicking on the picture in the 404 page

which leads to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
www.arghive.com (which i've never seen before)

it has an odd game listed...

Sweet!
Who is info shows it was created in December by someone we all know up in Canada.

No "odd" game, just archived websites.
Cloudmakers (The Beast) - The grand-daddy
Lockjaw - the grassroots grand-mother
Project MU - the grassroots child
ILB Audio Archive - archive of the hive mind
Push, NV - the failed tv experiment (which is how I found ARG)
Chasing The Fish - the first parody site in honor of Chasing the Wish

Unless you are talking about the hyp3rn3xu?

Wikipedia was at it with their traditional April Foolsing

Revolution Fanboy got its April Fools jiggy on with a little Metroid Prime + Pinatas based humor ( i like the comment "at least it sounds better than halo Wink), followed by an ashamed confession, and DS fanboy got in on the action too

Poisson D'Avril, everybody!
