Card to code mapping?

Does anyone think there could be a hidden puzzle in cracking how the codes under the rub-off strip are calculated from the card number?

Ie, there are some card numbers that will never be printed because they're expecting us to have learned to create our own codes by then?

Or are they purely random and just database matched?

I sure hope they're random. If I get a pack of new cards and find out someone's already used my codes I'm gonna be mightily pissed!

I'm *pretty* sure they intend on releasing all the cards and that we really shouldn't be trying to brute-force potential codes. Basically because it's just a bit stupid. I mean, TINAG it's a business Razz. Besides, as CoolCats pointed out if you got a card and the code had been used you'd probably be a bit annoyed and I'm sure so would anyone else if that were to happen.

Please just play nice.

Hmm...I wonder about that all the time too, Guesty. This game has me seeing puzzles everywhere I look so each time I scratch off and see a random group of numbers and letters I can't help but wonder. I agree that it wouldn't be fair, though...
