Afi doesn't use back up vocalists are anything like that. Except a female keyboarder I've seen a few times. Maybe they picked her up permanently?

Ok, didn't think that they had back up vocalists...
But this keyboardist might be a good lead. I can't seem to find her name anywhere, though..
EDIT: I've gone through the AFI site (new and old), the forum (not thoroughly, though, the search doesn't work), google, wiki, and google images. Nadda...

The only keyboardist I know that has collaborated with AFI is named Marta. She is also in the band Bleeding Through. She performed with AFI on their live cover of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" on MTV Icon.

ooohh! doh! I saw the name of the other band and I assumed that the two wern't related...
But it doesn't seem logical for AFI to use her, specially if she's in another band

Thats the only lead I can come up concerning a possible 5th member. I didn't think it was logical but is "iscopelvw4" logical to anyone?

The AFI sites are hosted (and presumably designed) by Fullerene Productions, whose website is hosted on Interscope's servers. I was doing some IP stuff a while back and noticed the sites were connected to iscopelvw.fullerene.com. I don't know what it means, but I'm pretty sure it's irrelevant. The iscopelvw4 thing is probably something automatically placed on the page. The "staging" message is most likely a message stating that the website has been connected to the domain or that it is currently being worked on.

I dont know what I do know is that I want this hunt to be over. The other day I called the "Charlotte" line and left the message I-s-c-o-p-e-l-v-w-4. and hung up. I think there's a new member. Maybe they picked up a keyboarder. I dunno though

Why would you want it to be over?
And I was thinking about signing up to the AFI forums, but is there really that much going on over there? Do I miss anything only being on the UF forum?

They have, like, 10+ threads dedicated to the game over there. The problem is, only the first five pages of the threads are ever important. The other 20 are usually people speculating between clues or just being annoying. The posts here basically summed up everything important.
I guess the only plus to posting at the official boards is that there are hundreds of people posting and playing along over there, but it'd probably be more fun playing along here. I think I'm going to focus on posting here because I find high-volume ARGs to be a bit tedious because 239482 people always get the solves before I do! Heh.

Ok, I gotcha.
But I suggest that we start being more active here, we went weeks without posting major updates, that should happen

True, true.
There's not much to go on, though. We're still waiting for wherearethefiveflowers.com to do something. Jade said it'd be up in a few days, so hopefully we'll get back into action pretty soon.
I guess this would be a pretty good time for any new players to jump aboard. Just read the summary and the VH1 article and you'll be set. Apparently we're only about 50% done.

I would like for it to be over so I can hear the new cd. I believe that's when the game ends is when the cd comes out.

Hmm..I kind of imagined that the c.d would hold clues to the game. Really, that's a better way to market your c.ds, I wouldn't buy their c.d unless it had clues in it. (I like A.F.I, but there's a list of other c.ds I need to buy...)

Their first single for the album, Miss Murder, is hitting the airwaves on the 17th. Maybe the next clue will be in the lyrics.
