scales?

Scales of "JUST"ice?

Maybe that is a barometer. At higher pressures water becomes ice at lower temperatures. At a specific pressure and temperature water can be ice, water and boil at the same time. Assuming it is in a vacuum i think.

Go with it.

I retract my previous barometer statement. Smile

Although, I stand by my analysis of the 3: if it were a triplet, there would be three notes below it: instead it is above the key, which implies a coda.

Coda? don't be saying stuff like that or I'll have to start retracting too Wink

Sorry, I missed the leap of faith that led to this one.

Please tell me that 'E' is not significant in the notes Confused

Ah but if was is a barometer, you'd lose the scales connection and your theory would fold in on itself and explode in a puff of logic Wink

Are you asking me that^ again? I think it was Azathnoth's idea (which I think makes sense) - music on little-boxes | music on paintover } thenekodas. I mean, the only other domain that makes sense is wongmo - I've been trying some directories... nothing.

See, thats the sure-fire way to defend yourself against the machines: just ask them to explain antimatter. Or quarks.

Or Michael Jackson.

While we're all in a daft mood, let me just pop in.

Timescales?

Does anything in the music refer to time?

Yeah, that thing that used to make me cry when I was little - they put it on top of a piano, it's like a clock... What is it called?

yanka... I didn't come up with the theory for nekodas as the next location... but I'll happily take credit for it! Very Happy

Realistically, it can only be thenekodas or wongmo, both are musical, but I'd say nekodas as the next target, just out of gut feeling recently.

What's Wongmo ever given us anyway? Stupid lousy tree-huggin hippie... Wink

(apologies to any tree-hugging hippies...)

It's a scale. The top says "PouNDS", the lower says "BY OUnces".

This was dicovered on the chat hours ago.

Also, we don't know about the timing of the music becuase:

a) we can't see a whole bar, and count up the notes, and
b) we can't see the tempo, so no luck on that front.

[EDIT] and nice spot on the "by ounces" thing, styles: that was starting to bug me

Lmao... but I have to agree at the moment - nekodas "feels" more likely. I wonder if he had anything to do with music, scales, or justice.

Also, this is the second time we see a looking glass. Alice?

It's that kind of thinking that got you three days of Tarot lessons Wink

I know what you mean, but It's just a little too convenient that the site pops up and next minute there's a clue which might point to it being the next big thing.

Aint that the point, isn't he due for a load of squatting hackers to pay a visit and mess up his server, particualrly while he's away at his little retreat.

But there's leafy and doctor wierd, who've offered precious little either.

Edit: 'bout time the paranoid journal kicked something out too.

Yeah, we know (its on page 2 I think).

It's just happy hour, and we're all a little daft from this infuriating game. Very Happy
