Excerpt from the Whistleblower:

I cracked KemSynth's login account with Equatorial Shipping- as you can see, (check out the link and login I provided below) they've made three extremely small shipments from Iquitos to Kanuti, Alaska. Each of these small shipments were made with the highest security level possible. I can't imagine what a botanical company would be shipping to a petroleum company, especially in small amounts. Even more perplexing, why would the shipments require high security?

Here- go to the site and see for yourself:

login: KemSynth
password: shipsafe34953290

http://www.equatorialshipping.com/
-Head over and log in.

Note that all 3 of the deliveries numbers are palindromes.

Also, for everyone who hasn't got the email yet, here's the link to the whistleblower's blog.

http://whistlebl0wer.blogspot.com/

I recommend reading all the blog messages.

EDIT: AgencyHQ now works... Suggest Hurrying before it goes down again.

I just sent some vague information about Equitoral shipping to the tipline, and got this response.

Quote:
Agent, please provide me with more specific evidence - I need shipping information from KemSynth's shipping company, Equatorial Shipping. Report back with this information ASAP.

So I sent the following: (I did this because there is no way to copy/paste the info, hence this should save everyone time).

Quote:

45554 was delivered successfully on 3/2/2006 13:15 to Kanuti, Alaska.

35653 was delivered successfully on 2/24/2006 17:31 to Kanuti, Alaska.

19891 was delivered successfully on 2/13/2006 13:33 to Kanuti, Alaska.

And got the following response:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Good work, the agency is looking into these shipments made by Botanicals immediately- these high security shipments indicate that KemSynth was working on something extremely dangerous and secret. We also believe that the attack in Alaska may be related to this top-secret project.someone knows what the project is and wants it in his own hands.

You've been granted security clearance from headquarters and your access code for confidential material will be *******.

Your assignment doesn't end here. We have suspicions that critical agency intelligence is being sold on the black market. If this is true, we have a mole within the agency. If our suspicions are confirmed you will be needed to uncover this threat.

Check in at the mission page periodically for details on this next mission.

*NOTE- You will need your access code to get fully briefed.

We expect great things from you here.

Teresa Lipan
Deputy Chief of Operations
IPCA

The part I replaced with '*******' is my code, which I assume will be different for everyone, hence I don't want someone using mine, and bleeped it out.

Sorry for the double post, too. Now awaiting Mission 2.

it looks like the code you get from completing Mission 1 can be used on the official site:

http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/OGS/UCUS-98641/Site/default.asp

Click mission 1, and enter the code, and you get an exclusive gameplay/making-of movie, and a downloadable .zip called the 'fanpack'

The fanpack seems to have the level designs, some screenshots, and some audio files. All of this is usable on the computer, but is obviously designed for viewing/hearing on the PSP.

Here's hoping the next mission gives better prizes. Very Happy

While I won't comment on the intelligence of this game (yet).
I'd like to point you to the beginning of this thread and have you read the first page where that was discovered and explained.

For completing the final mission, they give you another little downloadable pack, as well as a chance to win the "Spy Kit" described above.

It's very a simple mission, and takes little more than 5 minutes to complete (assuming the email delays as long as it did for me). This download pack is definitely better than the one provided in Mission 1.

Quote:
Contents of Downloaded Pack:

PSP-Formatted Syphon Filter Trailer, and 'Making of' Featurette'
Three Exclusive PSP Wallpapers & Backgrounds
Four Exclusive Syphon Filter maps (as far as I know, these are only for online play, I don't believe that they have any single player content).

The downloadable maps are:
-Alaska
-Bosnia
-Finland
-Peru

Edit: Note the strike. Turns out that they aren't playable maps. Uggh.
