... and the answer is

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Journey to the Centre of the Earth

A la 'read between the lines', the words 'JULES VERNE' are written across the red and orange circles, and there is a white dot at the centre of the earth. Voila!

I would like 2 pieces of informations.

1) The playing card symbol on this card

2) The card's author / architect. I can see text in the corner, but can't make out what it says.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Its a kick yourself when you know it kinda thing! Jules Verne is written by the sticky out bits on the circles. Holding the card the right way up (ie #003 and code at the top) join up all the vertical parts of the sticky out bits above the globe, and youll get 'JULES' Similar below the globe gets 'VERNE'

You can also just hold it at a distance and squint to see it. This works better with the actual card than with the scan.

I mentioned this a month ago Trout

And it's clubs not spades.
