Yep. Seems like Cunningham is MLO's latest pet.

The part about the "Gorgon Network" is interesting. A Gorgon is a creature from the greek mythology, with snakes as hair, and a stare that will make you turn into stone (literally speaking).

Another great thing was that we now know at least three employee-numbers (Beth, MLO and SW).

Beth's Metacortech's account

So, who wants to start trying passwords for Beth's Metacortechs account?

You know it has to be something because the IDs were so prominant...

To me, it also confirms that KC won't have a metadex, and gives us a reason: KC is a fairly recent employee, and she would've missed signing up for the beta. The only method we have of finding anything out about her is getting into her Metacortex email now... and I don't like the possibility of that.

KC is definitely a minor player: new hire to Metacortex brought on board by the new CEO (so she's a flunky or a groupie...)... Although, I wouldn't be surpirsed if she turns out to be Scratch, or one of the other hackers...?

I'd also say its a fairly safe bet that the login username for Beths Metacortex account is her ID number... the pwd though could be anything. Confused

Huh? I only just noticed that Marcus Ormond spelled his own name wrong?? It's "Ormand" in the memo...

I am going to have to dissagree with you. Smile She isn't a major player yet! Something is giving me the feeling that she will be playing a major roll soon enough, but its just spec.

Nice catch, Giskard.

From personal experience though, it could be a nothing: an internal systems stuff up. When I started working for my current employer, they spelt my name incorrectly in my Groupwise email account... I had it changed (of course), but in my calendar it is still spelt wrong... grrr...

I guess that could've happened to Marcus, but hands up again who believes in co-incidence in this game? Wink

That memo was sent on the 14th - Tuesday. Why not Monday?

'cos Monday was when KC was spilling the beans on Beth's snooping.

Another curious thing is the way Marcus describes KC as "your recent addition to my department".

It suggests she was put in his department, rather than him hiring her or requesting her transfer.

Could she be a plant?

When a company gets a new CEO, they tend to bring with them a lot of their "peeps"... flunkies, or people who the new CEO knows s/he can count on for support during a transitive period.

I get the feeling that KC is a buddy or close friend (plant?) for Mr Walsh...

Because Monday was Columbus Day.

From the memo:
Quote:
Were it not for her quite prompt report of the incident in my office on Friday...

Coupled with the possibility that it was her birthday party on Sunday - at which Marcus was present, I'd say her holding on snitching on Beth until Monday is unlikely.

Maybe. But it's not on the calendar, and even Halloween is.

I don't know if this could be important (I at least don't see how it could be, so I personally would disregard it at the moment), but I don't think it's not worth at least mentioning.
