[UPDATE] Cognivia Shareholder Update for March 269 from Hesh's private files:
Quote:
a brighter future
Cognivia is leaner, fitter and better placed than ever. Over the past financial year, our share of the cognitive enhancement retail market increased from 68% to 69%, leading to an increase in turnover of 3.2%.
Coupled with our internal efficiency programme and streamlined distribution network, this gave us a 4.7% rise in profits (before exceptional items).
Progress in mind
Our investments in AI continue to produce extremely promising results. Agilon is on the verge of completing its new City Behavioural Model, which will prove invaluable to anyone wishing to predict citizensʼ reactions to a huge variety of stimuli – from natural disasters to marketing campaigns.
Completing the picture
In prosthetics, weʼre forging ahead in our development of nanotechnology.
Within the year, we expect to have completed the core work on our neural scanner, which will allow us to map and replicate the networks of any part of the brain. It will soon be possible to scan a healthy brain in its entirety and, if it is damaged in later life, to recreate a prosthesis of the damaged region.
The winning formula
This year, we also continued our successful association with the PCAG. The
exposure this gives Cognivia is a key factor in our domination of the market, and weʼve been working hard to maintain our position as the PCAGʼs artner of choice. To keep up with the latest enhancement and concealment techniques, our biodatam scans have been upgraded to include a full genetic profile, highlighting any signs of gene therapy. And as cerebral prosthetics become more and more sophisticated, weʼve developed new methods for detecting and disabling nanotechnology.
evolution, accelerated
For millions of years, life has been a missed opportunity. Generations of human beings have been able to access only a fraction of their mental capacity, never reaching their full potential. In the past twenty years, Cognivia has taken the human mind to new levels. The ability to enhance our own faculties has heralded the start of a new evolutionary era. Mankind has entered the Mind Age.
The next generation
And now, weʼre preparing to take the next step in that evolution. Ceretin 6 is in its final test phase, having already shown significantly improved performance over the current generation of Ceretin. Very soon, Cognivia customers will have the opportunity to be even faster, sharper and more alert. Imagine the difference it could make to your life.
Natural selection
Before we move forward in our development, we want to be absolutely sure that weʼre heading in the right direction. Thatʼs why weʼre taking a little more time to perfect Ceretin 6, making certain that we understand any test anomalies. The testing phase is designed to highlight issues as early as possible. It is doing exactly that. Rather than worry about the extended test process, we should be glad that any imperfections have been detected at a stage when we can study and correct them. The human race has waited millions of years to reach this point. We can afford to spend a few more months sharpening our future.
thinking ahead
This has been a great year for Cognivia, in the face of challenging conditions. Not only have we produced our best ever financial results, but weʼve also laid the foundations for future success. All our shareholders can feel confident that their investment will continue to grow, as we work to improve the lives of our citizens in a financially responsible manner.
Proof copies of the forthcoming C6 research paper will be available to CE professionals in April 269.

Also, if someone could just take a brief glance at the embedded graphic at the end of the document, that would be great - looks tampered with. Maybe.

I posted in the Tippy email thread, but this is probably a better place for it. Are we gonna have to pretend to be "CE professionals" now, to get a copy of that C6 research paper?

The Ceretin report seems like mostly fluff to me on first read. One thing to point out though:

I'd bet that this is what we really want with respect to Isaac's death.

Regarding the odd-looking image at the end of the document : This appears to be two images overlayed; one small 'clouds' image in the top right, and the main image behind it.
Can anyone with a less ancient version of Acrobat do anything with this?
Edit : purely for reference sake, I've attached the two images (from copy/paste, so no good for de-stegging I fear ...)

What about it? It's the same email as has been on the Cognivia website for a long time...

I think a good first place to check would be that private shareholder report they issued last week. If Cognivia knows anything at all about this new ceretiva derivative, it's likely they'd put it in the report, since black market activity has a significant impact on their legitimate business."
I don't see anything, aside from Ceretin 6 being delayed because of "test anomalies" or those "exceptional items" that fits the bill in the report however...need to have another read over of it perhaps...

The overlay on that final image seems like an odd 'mistake'. I extracted all the images from the pdf, but nothing seems to be hidden there.
How does one create such a shape from two rectangular images? Might there be an oddly shaped semi-transparent layer or something?

Perhaps we could mail them suggesting we are interested in opening a C6 franchise on Earth. We could attempt to be interested in increasing their market and thereby asking to see the latest reports research etc.
They may go for it if their share prices are falling.

Attached are the two other extracted images.
I'm *assuming* that they're just stock, and so not of any real use - unless 'Evacuate(d)' written on a test-tube means anything ...

That's a fairly saucy picture for a shareholder report!
I also note (with little interest) that profits are up for the year "before exceptional items" - wonder what these are?

also, remember this Sentinel excerpt:
Quote:
Cognivia Drops on Report
Shares in Cognivia dropped 7% today on the release of the company's shareholder report. Analysts say that the pharamceutical giant has failed to show any true innovation lately, instead relying on incremental improvements to its existing products or new, niche drugs with very limited potential markets.

with the 'exceptional items' being in context with the proft margins, i'd guess that they mean stuff like large one-off expenditures on r&d (which would be likely due to ceretin 6 development) or incomes from one-off donation type things. we used to have the same phrase in my church budget reports when i was on the committee there, it helps you see the normal economic progression as a result of gradual growth/decline/normal business rather than it spiking all over the place. so i'm not so sure its anything we need to be looking at for clues. (unless they had to *significantly* pay off a load of people to cover up isaac cymbalistys death in ceretin 6 trials ;) )

If cheapceretin.com is a branch of cognivia (as the web page seems to suggest, given its

line at the bottom, perhaps this is where they "test" their product? Could this be the "exceptional items" we are wondering about? Could Cymbalisty have been ordering sharp red not knowing they were test runs?
Just trying to tie the cognivia thing together with other specs.
