It's essentially a spot the difference, but I turned it on its side and treated it as a magic eye.

Nope, it's not impossible. You just have to load the card in Photoshop (or equivalent), copy the lower portion, paste it as a layer on top of the upper, and set the layer mode to "difference." Doing this with a high-res scan of the card (so as to capture detail), then scaling it down to an acceptable resolution (to publish publically) gives you the answer .

I did something a bit similar. I scanned both sections, converted one to green pixels over red, the other to red pixels over green. Then I overlayed one on the other with 50% transparency. Areas where red combined with green showed up as murky brown, while areas with a difference showed as bright red and green which was easily seen.
I had already got the answer though, and a headache, by staring at them for 5 minutes while crosseyed...

Have to say, I found that one rather easy for a purple, looked at it, thought "oh, it's magic eye", and got the answer...
A disappointment for me

I agree, although I went 'oh it's a magic eye' and then go someone else to see if for me.
Some of the colours are a bit screwy this wave.

Can i make a request for a good quality image to play with too please?
Also don't have access to a scanner and have struggled with the copies I have found either on here or the card catlogue, that and not being very good with photoshop doesn't help!

Lucky you...
I have a book of Magic Eye pics which I can do at will, but I cannot see this one at all. I have a very vivid imagination though and have seen lots of scary faces, numbers, a swan, a goblin, a tower, an angel, a rose and more scary faces.
Also tried the image enhancement techniques and got nothing that way. And some people found this one easy
It just goes to show, doesn't it...
though what, I'm not sure

Thank goodness for the unf, because I have never ever been able to "see" a single magic eye picture in my entire life. I don't feel bad at all.
