Fun! Consider me in.
I will have a probe, see if i can turn anything new up.
EDIT:
Okay, noticing the use of lyrics popping up all over the place in the new MySpace profiles, i decided to try and cross-reference the music artists listed (as they are different for each profile) with the lyrics.
So far I have only gone through Georgia's as it is time consuming and I have to be going shortly. Also, for georgia's i used the word "orchid" from the display pic.
I turned up only two things possbily meaningful which again i dont have much time to chase up but:
1) Nikko + Orchid = http://www.printswanted.com/view.cfm?ImageID=64290
2) For a number of the artists cross-referenced with artists "Blue orchid" seems to appear a lot as a profile on rateitall.com but i think this is out of game and aren't particularly willing to follow it up. http://www.rateitall.com/Blue%20Orchid
Sorry this hasn't been more helpful, I'll try following it further tomorrow.
Cheers.

i just read all about this crazy game today and i must say im interested.
i read over this entire form and put charolettenothing on my buddy list.
at 10:24 central time (dont know if that matters) she signed on.
i said hello and a couple seconds later this away message was put up:
"where are the five flowers?"
i checked the wherearethefiveflowers.com website, but now it doesn't work at all. it is as if the site doesnt even exist anymore.
and i attempted to talk to the screen name but i get no response.

Wow, thanks for the report! That's a major update. The wherearethefiveflowers.com error message is fake. Click on the red "back" link and it takes you to a new page.
It shows you a picture of the box from AFI's short film "Clandestine." You can view that film here:

Wherearethefiveflowers.com now has a picture of what I believe to be the new CD liner. When you load the page click the back link on the page it will take you there.

Something I saw about the pic on the secret Wherearethefiveflowers site-place thing, it's in flash. Maybe there's some way to animate it?

wow. ignition4596 good observation!
i went back and if you go to the picture. there are four links that ive found in it. each is in the middle of the boxes in the four corners.
they are links to mp3s.
one is a voice possibly talking backwards.
one is a song (piano?)
one sounds like a phone dial tone
and the last one is like a techno beat.
definatly stumped.
i do have a friend working on the backwards voice though.

sorry to post so many updates in a row.
but, a friend reversed the backwards mp3 and it is spelling out letters in french.
ill have the letters in english for us soon!
edit//
ok.. little trouble. if anyone knows french well it would help.
this is kind of what i've figured out:
either
"deucjcfdj" or "daucjcfdj"
i know for a fact that those are probably off, so if anyone could reverse that recording (bottom left hand corner link off the picture) and translate it from french, that would really help.

Woot! The sounds in Georgia's MP3 are, indeed, French letters. They translate to: DAECGCODG
At first I thought it was a phone number, so I tried to turn these into numbers. The letter "O" would be 15, though, so that didn't fit. However, I decided to turn the "O" into a "0" and got a phone number!
(415)-373-6047
It's some girl talking really fast. I think it's "John (or Joanne?), it's Georgia. This is it -- it's ending. I'm losing my connection. Look for me at Craig's."
Maybe the other ones are phone numbers too?

steamshell, i called that number and it does in fact say Joanne.
In the (top left) MP3, the Catherine MP3, there are 10 notes being played.
if someone could figure out what those 10 notes are in letters, im pretty sure it would be another phone number.

hmm...now when you go to wherearethefiveflowers it brings you to, guess where? Here.
EDIT: Never mind that, I just typed wherearethefiveflowers into FF and it brought me here, you're a smart browser, arn't you? yes you are...
Steamshell: Do you have those files reversed? I know french, I'll see if I can't understand some more...
I have a mic, too, so if you want I can record them and then reverse them...
Sorry, I get what you guys were talking about, let me get my ducks in a row and I'll have something for you
OK, I might have something
Why don't we try to match the sounds of the telephone on julian with a real telephone? Maybe we'll get a number
And man that scared me..
As for the georgia one, the j's you have could be g's, either way I haven't found anything

ok guys.
we got the georgia one "(415)-373-6047"
the catherine one we need to find out what the letter notes are of that song. and that should reveal a phone number.
the julian one is a dial tone, so yes audioslave we need to figure out what numbers those tones are and that is going to be a phone number.
update i've got the hector one "(323)-319-6237" can anyone tell what this says??
man, we got this!
