Since you like Symbology Scott, what's up with the "fF" thing you got going on there?

Pardon me being new here, just wondering Smile

Nice link btw, thanks

The fF is some wierd glitch that some people suffer - perhaps linked to fonts or keyboard differences? You'll see it occur occasionally throughout the forums; it is not intentional.

1st post here.

This is a really great prize package. Four separate trips for you and three guests would be really nice. BUT!

Quote:
Grand prize winner must take the same three (3) Guests on each leg of the trip prize.

(trip prize?)

Oh man, this is such a dealbreaker for me. If I won this prize, I would just tell everyone that I got 2 tickets and take my wife, because I don't want to lose my friends. It would be WAY better if I could take different guests each trip.

And, I have my wife and 2 young children. It would be impossible for us to go together on all four trips, but we wouldn't be able to let somebody else go because of the "same guests" thing. Gah!

I would like to get a cryptex though, those look pretty sweet.

I found the terms to be somewhat confusing in places. My understanding of the trip prize, however, is that it is one big tour rather than multiple separate trips. So unless you want to, you know, leave a couple of your friends stranded in a foreign country, it's probably a good idea to take them along with you on each leg until you return home. Wink

Yeah, I hope they get more difficult. Of course this is a movie promotion, not a game trying to stump you Smile

It should try to stump, considering the premise of the movie and book.

Am I wrong, or did one of the pictures have a hook in the middle? After trickily having all the others with hooks at the top! (Yes, clearly I fall into the "not easy enough!" whiner's category. Razz )

Each time you pull it up, you get a different puzzle.
And yes, on some the hooks are in places other than the top.

Actually, it specifically says that each trip is from the closest major city to the destination. It is four separate trips. $29,000 (ARV) each for the Italy, France, and England trips; and $10,000 for the New York trip.

If I win, I'm gonna complain Very Happy

Code in text entry field

So has anyone noticed that when you have to enter an answer in the puzzles, the lines that make of the text entry "box" is actually a series of binary codes. The horizontal line is made up of three rows of square pixels and it is not a repeating pattern. Having only 3 bits, each column can only represent 0-7. Not enough for ascii, even with two columns per letter. My initial twiddling doesn't reveal a reliable pattern. Any ideas? Here is a picture:

Hey, is there a way to reply puzzles from pervious days? Because if it really changes every time you play, that picture one today was allright.

'Course, I'm still in the 'too easy' group. I guess though, it's a google thing, so everything should be solved with google.
