one more thing about this card.... did the maker of this card not go to school? does he not realise that colourblindness is one of the things that people HAVE to learn about at school? and WHY women are less likely to have colourblindness! sheesh!

ok so everyone has 46 chromosones (23 identical pairs)
on the 23rd pair (the sex cells) there is either one of 2 combinations - X Y for male or X X for female.

Colourblindness (now known c for colourblindness and C for normal sight) is something which is on some of the chromosomes and in the dna of a person. A Cc combination means a person does not have colourblindness but is a carrier and a CC combination means perfect sight and cc is colourblindness.

Right so heres the bit that is weird. Colourblindness is only carried on an X chromosome... so a male has one and a female has 2. this means men are more likely to be colourblind.

I think it's really great that they included a card that couldn't be solved by people afflicted by colour blindness.

I think maybe they should have a live event where there are points available at the top of a flight of stairs, so that people affected by paraplegia can't get them...

Hell, why stop at physical disabilities? They could have us all send off for five free points of we can prove we're not autistic, or even dock points from people who are discovered to have dyslexia?

his tests in 1917. It consists of a number of

circle made of many different sized dots of
slightly different colours,
spread in a random manner. Within
the dot pattern, and differentiated
only by colour, is a number. Whether
a number is visible indicates
whether the viewer has colour

existance of a deficiancy is usually
clear after no more than four plates.
