Man and I was hoping that the chess category was actually going to require some chess knowledge, but it's nothing more than a visual addition to some trivia questions.... Razz

Have you guys checked out the trailer for the movie yet? One of my friends says it's full of odd symbols, mainly the astronomical sort. I admit I haven't been paying all that much attention to any of the DaVinci Code things, but perhaps you guys will get something out of it!

Just so you know, Da Quest has hit http://jayisgames.com; which is an uber shibby site, meaning chances of winning just went from 1:1million to 1:1.5million (figures calculated by me in my bum). But it's also another place where cool people will talk about the game and probably post spoilers, so if you're into that sorta thing, more power to ya.

On another note, today was laughably easy. Jigsaw puzzles are so last season.

Well, all that matters is when you complete the final puzzle. I bet most of those 1.5 million people won't be solving a puzzle at 1 PM.

So far, they are being posted daily, it happens at 12 noon where I'm located, in the Central Time Zone. (U.S.)

I am beginning to see this is being more comercial than it is difficult.

Same type puzzle as before, just a bit larger board, and then a bit of the metric system.

Today's challenge will certainly help filter out those not committed. They'll see the end question, think 'WTF?' and move on. Fools, the cryptexes (that's the right plural, I checked Smile) will be so cool...

For the rest of us, if you're still stuck this'll help:

[EDIT: Didn't realise people got different different Q's - mine asked for a conversion of stones >> slugs]

I just copied and pasted the question into google and got the conversion.

Quote:
How many stones in 196000 grains?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
196 000 grains = 2 stones

as said before all you need is google converter and an understanding of it. It is obviously a cross promotion that is being utilized to make google use more visible along with keeping the davinci code in your mind.

so for this one just learn how to use google don't worry about trying to use any other form of site though being a player it's always encouraged to think outside of the box.

Typing the question into google gives you the answer... I don't think too many people will be stumped.

What will stump some will be that damned Symbol Sudoku. It took me upwards of 40 minutes to complete it.

Also, the questions change, so the weight converter that the poster above linked too will not help some. For example, my question was about how many marathons it would take to run across the planet Pluto.
