Giving back the meat is for rich people. Take it. It's just a game. If they didn't want to lose meat in PvP they should have put it in the closet and left stuff in their inventory that you would have to take instead.

(Anyway the PvP and (clanVclan) are not really great functions anyway - if you have to have an etiquette that says you can't keep what you won then why the hell do it? And in clanVclan nobody does that - if we had goody bags and defenders we would be attacked within a day by someone much stronger and everything would be taken. Plus these days you have to spend clan funds feeding the defenders oatmeal. Every day. Stupid. Which is why we don't do it.)

But be ready for consequences, of course. Fair is fair. Some of those people you're attacking have friends.

Of course the easiest way to make meat is to buy an extra Mr. A and resell it to the kids who can't/won't spend real money on the game. Better still, buy a Mr. A and use it to buy a monthly item from Mr. Store and wait a couple of months.

All that making and selling foods and drinks is nickel-and-diming as far as I'm concerned - the market is fairly well balanced and there just isn't THAT much meat to be made there on a regular basis. Plus you have to keep making chefs and bartenders. What a pain. Go the Mr. A route.

I'd like to join the clan. I have absolutly nothing to offer except a marginally clever name. I'm Joe Bleau. But I do have a tin foil hat! Foily!

I'll fix that - I got bounced as I tried to finish the admission work on you (server overloaded due to another Oyster Day); I thought my edits were accepted and just not displayed but I guess the transaction didn't complete.

Now that I have my chef- and bartender-in-a-box, currently, if you provide the ingredients, I am more than happy to cook stuff for you to scam.... I mean sell, in the market. The chow meins do well, several thousand more than the cost of materials.

Why do people pay such high prices for things at the market?
If they aren't a high enough level to shop at the mall, or win the items in adventures, how do they have enough money to buy things for huge prices?? I have hardly any money! And have never bought anything from the market!

Unclear - if they are alts of more senior players then they would never need the market at all because if they're willing to give them money they can give them food too.

One theory - because I actually did this for a while when I was a growing Accordion Thief the first time around - although it is nickel-and-diming, sometimes things are just enough cheaper in the market to make it worthwhile to buy and resell in the Mall, which means the Mall price is the driving force.

I start out just using the "sell items" link in my inventory for a bit for some things. You might be able to sell stuff to other clan members (I remember Mart was collecting razor sharp can lids for a while and paying a premium for it), since cooked food/cocktails gives you more adventures than uncooked food or straight liquor, it really pays to get chef in a box and bartender in a box as soon as you can.

So I sell little things in the flea market to help save up for the EZ cook oven and coctail shaker first, and then save a few adventures to cook food.
Let me look back and find your character name, I'll send you some chow mein, you can get something like 20 to 28 adventures, plus a few points toward rasing a stat (not as healthy as Hell Ramen, but I don't have to go shopping for hell broth either).

Atrophied just sent me a bunch of disembodied brains and skulls, and boxes, I'll put together a care package for you. Your in the clan. When you get to be high enough level to start buffing people, send a few my way.

*edit* momomo should have some nice goodies in your inventory now...

On your skills page - you will see you can select other people to send the buffs to. But don't worry too much about it - there's all these cheap buffbots out there - like testudinata - much easier and cheaper for everyone. I think you should focus on levelling and ascending and getting a few rotations under your belt before you think about becoming a net donator.
