It seems the site is giving us secret messages

On a completely unrelated note, playing with broken site scripts is fun

My mother just said the exact same thing. Have we tried Hello Kitty?

for what it's worth...

Your personal assessment
Check yourself into a mental institution at the earliest available opportunity.

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you have antisocial tendencies if not a criminal record. If the authorities are not currently informed of your whereabouts call your local station immediately and give them your address.
______________________________

My first assessment was just the one line. Guess that means I put his desired answer for shoes, eyes, etc.?? Do you think it's the What question do you want to be asked? part that determines the first line of the assessment?

I went for obvious on the first blot and said "a bunch of smudged fingerprints" and said the second one looked like a "squished hedgehog face" -- wonder which one makes me "criminal"? Rolling Eyes
For the record, I totally see a cute kitten in the two ink blots squised together! Smile

This Oistin person is really quite a brat...Or maybe I'm just a bit touchy today...No...I'm fairly certain that he's a brat.

My Results:

Be wary of offering your opinions to people. They make provoke an aggressive reaction. Don't close your eyes. Staring into infinity can only lead to a sense of inadequacy and ultimately insanity.

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you are unable to censor your own thoughts. Your stream of consciousness gushes like the rapids of the Mazy River and anybody entering into conversation with you is likely to drown. There are a number of excellent cognitive therapists in Perplex City who may be able to help you overcome your problem. I am not one of them

Just a thought - people have been saying that the 104% result for the first part is best. I just got 'you'll be fine', though, which could be an alternative answer we need.

And just a note, I juuust tried Hello Kitty for the first inkblot and got the 'criminal tendencies' thing. Huh.

If we're trying to cut down to the 'right' responses, 1-2 plants seems to be healthy; also, no television shows got me no comment regarding them. Favourite animal being a cat and being afraid of furries also got no comment for my tries. Nothing/calm seem to get nothing, although when trying them I also got 'You clearly lead a rich and fulfilling life. I'm honoured that you have the time to spare for me.' I did change a few other things, though. Finding advertising glamourous also seems to have no comments, and same with purchasing groceries every other day. Oh, and 1-4 caffeine does the same.

Don't know if that helps, but worth a try.

Edit: Rather than make a new post - could 'I'm honoured you could spare the time' (paraphrased) relate to how long has been spent on the quiz in total?

Tried 6 TV shows and the "Hello Kitty" and "Jabba the Hutt" answes to get:

Quote:
Have you done one of these tests before? Congratulations - you scored 104%

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you do not look beneath the surface of things. You are essentially a credulous person with an underdeveloped sense of perception. Wise up.

okay, establishing a little baseline analysis, we start with no answers given at all:
Quote:
You clearly lead a rich and fulfilling life. I'm honoured that you have the time to spare for me. You really need to go out and buy a plant. Your barren home is draining the creativity from your psyche.

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you lack imagination. A trip to a local gallery may help to stimulate your visual senses. Psychotropic drugs may also be of use.
Hmm. that's pretty good already.

So let's look at some of the questions. Part A is clearly personal stuff, which is collected and tossed in a box and never looked at again. Part B asks us about house plants, so let's buy 1 or 2 of them.

Quote:

The only other answer on this page which affects the outcome is "what do you see when you close your eyes?" which is probably best left at 'Nothing'. Although, Von said 'Darkness', so we'll say darkness too.

Part C is a bit more tricky. Outcome depends on number of shows. Here's all possibles:

  • 0 shows - You clearly lead a rich and fulfilling life. I'm honoured that you have the time to spare for me.
  • 1 show - You'll be fine.
  • 2 shows - Avoid salads and tall men.
  • 3 shows - Be wary of offering your opinions to people. They make provoke an aggressive reaction.
  • 4 shows - Check yourself into a mental institution at the earliest available opportunity.
  • 5 shows - Upon your death please donate your brain to medical science. You can keep your liver.
  • 6 shows - Have you done one of these tests before? Congratulations - you scored 104%
  • 7 shows - The Earth institution 'Mensa' is looking for members. Perhaps you should apply.
  • 8 shows - Have you been taking Ceretin?
  • 9 shows - Very carefully wrap up any scissors, cutlery, tools or craft implements in a towel. Take the towel outside your door and place it on the doorstep. Then call a friend or family member (if you have any) and ask them to remove the towel and its contents as soon as possible.
  • 10 shows - Have you considered taking a grammar class? Or just using the spellcheck every once in a while?
  • 11 shows - The voices in your head are making more sense than you. Listen to them.
  • 12 shows - You know. We live in a rich interesting and vibrant world. Perhaps there's more to life than nachos and reruns of The Lab?
  • 13 shows - You are very attractive and persuasive. Have you considered starting your own religion?
  • 14 shows - We don't need people like you hunting for the Cube. Why don't you take up knitting instead?

Any inclusion of TJ Hooker adds this to your output: "Like your hero TJ Hooker you tackle challenges head-on with determination and vigour paying scant attention to the law. This devil-may-care attitude may work for fictional crimefighters but it can be counterproductive in real life."

We're trying to emulate Von, so we'll pick 6 shows. Here's what we have:

Quote:
Have you done one of these tests before? Congratulations - you scored 104% Don't close your eyes. Darkness can blind you.

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you lack imagination. A trip to a local gallery may help to stimulate your visual senses. Psychotropic drugs may also be of use.

Next is Part D, the inkblots. Your target is 6 - 10 words. Less than 6, and you are credulous. more than 10 and you are unable to censor your own thoughts. Right in that target zone, however, you are .. a criminal. Well, ok.

Part E is about shoes and butter. it doesnt actually care about buttering your left hand, nor does it care much about your shoe laces, so long as you have them. Part F is a lot of fFill in the blanks, and a question about how you fFeel. None of this seems to matter at all.

So, here's what we have:

Quote:
Have you done one of these tests before? Congratulations - you scored 104% Don't close your eyes. Darkness can blind you.

Your responses to the inkblot test suggest that you have antisocial tendencies if not a criminal record. If the authorities are not currently informed of your whereabouts call your local station immediately and give them your address.

so we've hit our target in the inkblot, we're just not getting some small parsing right. It doesnt care about order, spelling, punctuation, or word length.

That's what I have so fFar.
