[EVENT] Possible Leeds Swapmeet Hi guys.
I've chatted to a guy in Travelling Man in Leeds and he seemed up for hosting a swapmeet. I thought I'd post here to see who's interested. It'd be on a Sunday in a few weeks, nothing's confirmed yet, wanted to see how many'd be interested.
Also, do I have to do anything official with Mind Candy or can it be arranged between us and whoever hosts?
Cheers,
Jack

I'm up for it
Went to the swap meet at Fanboy in Manchester on Monday and while there weren't a lot of players there (about 8 of us) it was great to meet other people and discuss the game.

Hi Anansi
I don't think you need to notify MC about the swap-meet, but it might be a good idea to as in the past they have sent along some extra bits and pieces to help things go with a swing and a ding-a-ling.

Well it ain't a meeting without some ding-a-ling!!
I'll email them this weekend, cheers.
I was thinking last weekend in May/first weekend in June for several reasons:
1) Students will probably have finished exams (I've got exams at the end of May and I'm not even a student any more!!)
2) It'll hopefully give the people who ordered Wave 3 only packs to get their cards first. there's nothing worse than spending ages trading only to get the cards in the next pack.
It'll give people a good amount of time to organise things.
Sound good?

I'd be interested. Especially if it's a Sunday.

I'll see what I can do...but will need to find an excuse too...maybe we can pool excuse ideas Ramsfan...Apparently it is famous for Sir Jimmy Savile and was one of the hubs for call centres in the late 20th century.
Maybe a Jimmy Savile call centre convention?
