have we figured out any of this whole "sacraments" thing? I looked it up in the Bible, but no 13 sacraments are ever mentioned....anyhoo, i completley agree with the whole BI being IG and not knowing it thing...but that could just be me being over zealous.....i dont know.....anyhoo, this is really becoming interesting.....

yeehaw!

Things that make me go hmmm:

The name of the site is Revelation. The provider mentions 13 sacraments and the Mark of the Beast.

In the Bible Revelation chapter 13 is about the mark of the beast.

In regard to sacraments I found this quote.
"It is interesting that the word "Sacrament," which is a Roman Catholic term for "a visible, tangible sign through which God approaches us, enters into our lives, and draws us to Himself through his grace.... comes from a Latin translation of the Greek 'mysterion' or 'mystery. ' " (Basics of the Faith: A Catholic Catechism, p. 151). "

So far, TJray's theory of her being IG and not knowing it sounds interesting. "TickTock" is pretty criminalizing, though, and listing BR as her website... *shrug* Hey, "TickTock" might just be a phrase she saw on BR, liked, and put on her signature. Hm.

If you think *TickTock* is bad, look at her profile at ChronosisLabs ( http://www.fallingintime.com/forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=63&sid=c39356a0dd8738731f3d921ea03621e9 ) and see what her website is listed as.

Things the make you go hmmm . . .

Greetings, everyone. I'm new to all this and this is my first post. So I don't think I'm doing anything useful, just pointing at some stuff I noticed. Probably useless, but posting it anyway.

Quote:

"Prophet" (7:20:44 PM): And, my glock .18 will work just as well.

The Prophet mentioned Glock 18. But I thought Glock 18 is only available to military personal. Does this mean the Prophet has ties with the army?

Also, there's something fishy about that Ein character. He's typing lots of "..." during the chat. If someone is in pain and frightened, that someone will probably type very fast, forgoing all punctuation, not wasting time typing dots.

All of Ein's " . . ." bother me too. Although I think it was more to give us the sense of how he would sound if we could hear him. To me it seemed a lot more like what an audible conversation would sound like, rather than what a true chat with someone in his postion would be like.
I agree that he should've been typing without all of the ". . .". Those are more a representation of a pause in speech (i.e.: a transcript of a conversation). A pause in chat means someone just stops typing.
My 2 cents.

That bothered me a lot too. The question is, is that significant or just shoddy writing?

I'd say it's more likely shoddy writing considering the grammar on the Behold Revelation website.....

Today, I shot off an email to Neo's address, ubastankSPLATgmail.com which read:

Dear Neo,

You never did call us, Mr. Anderson. A question for you: why have people been marked? I doubt you're speaking about Pokemon, too. Did you mean what you said in the way I think you meant it? Is there a person you know with "emet" on his or her head? And what would the full consequences of being "marked" be, anyway?

Someone thought that the word "EIN" was a number in German, which is true. It means "One".

Babblefish translates Ein's name to: A lime tree man

I think it's funny, myself.

Well, with the Neo posting, it looks like he's trying to DRAW out Prophet - why it sounds like he's responding/following the chat, that means there's a mole in the room...

(Mata, I KNOW it's you and your *now defunked* bot!! Laughing)

i continued to do research into the sacraments thing and i could only come up with a list of seven. They are.

1. The Sacrament of Baptism
2. The sacrament of confirmation
3. the sacrament of the Holy Eucharis
4. The sacrament of Reconciliation (pennance)
5.The Sacrament of the anointing of the sick
6. The sacrament of Hly Orders
7. The sacrament of Matrimony

There looks to be no "agony", so i havent the foggiest as to what that was about......Ahh well.

Whoa. Now that I'm looking at the list, the Seventh Sacrament could very well be Agony!

Didn't the prophet say that some of the people who had contacted him via AIM were marked? Maybe he's waiting for enough people to contact him...and then the real thing will start.

I just had a horrible thought. What if DataCorp (or whatever it's called; I can't remember) is a real company, and this is just viral advertising?

I hope not.

P.S. I figured the naming actually meant something in German, but someone in #theroom told me it was nine, and I went down the barrelfalls.

Possible connections:
Stefan Lindemann is often referred to by his fans as "Lime Tree Man".

"Der Lindenbaum", also called by some "The Linden Tree" is a song in Winterreise. It's based on a poem by Wilhelm Müller.

I've also tried running the name through the Internet Anagram Server, but I've noticed nothing, other than interesting phrases such as "DAMN LENIN NINE" and "AMEN LINDEN INN". I doubt it's an anagram, anyway. Ha, maybe it's a German one. I hope not.

On another route: Wikipedia has a fair bunch of info on Sacraments. Well, now we know our friend Prophet isn't a Quaker.

Also, this may or may not be in-game, but I missed a call from Florida while I was out. Will investigate.

I've been searching for sites with some sort of Datacorps or Datacorpsystems in their domain. So far they are all OOG but reviewing the IRC log with EIN I think I know how to figure out when we find it:
Quote:
<trants> when you say datacorps logo, what does the logo look like, is it just writing?
<Ein_Lindenmann12> it's red... with a shield... behind the text...
