Boy that one was a pain in the butt. I didn't even have the right notes, as I had a lot of trouble reading the waterlines on teh card itself, but I took a random guess based on the projected note arrangement listed here and a song I knew that used similar notes, and got lucky. Smile

I found this site useful, as it plays it back for you.

Well thanks Oliver. I wish I had played the notes you posted right away! Heck you don't need more than 4 notes, do you?

I do...

EDIT:
Well, I did need all twelve in the end, anyway. Took about 10 minutes for the PXC site to get to the solve page, and now it looks like PXC has gone offline completely...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That link with fish is a bit tenuous isn't it? Smile

Y'all are such a tease! Razz
I'm still getting nowhere! I went to the site Ollie suggested, but there's no B#. It would probably also be more helpful to have *12* notes, instead of the 11 he posted. Being musically challenged, I'm at a loss! Confused

Looks like he missed out:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The seventh note, which incidentally is the same as the second, fifth, ninth but not the eleventh.

And also, that nonexistant B# should be a C#.

And I found a few of those clues misleading - I feel that the stress of the music does not lie on every 4th note, only the 12th one. Of course it would have helped at the beginning if I could tell the difference between portrait and landscape *kicks self*

hunting4treasure go to this sitehttp://ababasoft.com/music/piano_machine.swf and play these notes C F G# G F B G F B# F C but input the B# as a B then play with the tempo and you will get it although it will be slightly out of tune

Personally, I use Anvil Studio - It's a freeware MIDI composing and editing suite, it's brilliant for someone like me with no musical talent whatsoever Smile

It sounds familiar but I can't put my finger on it, I'm not sure even what genre it is but I'm guessing its classical...but other than that I'm at a loss.

Edit: although as I listen to it more I doubt it is classical.

Is it like a very famous song, one that I really should know, or one that might not be so well known? (sorry for asking questions but this card is driving me crazy).
