Woot to me for reviving a post over a year old....

I bought the Halo 2, Vol. 2 sound track and the backmasking is present in two places on the Sound track. I have not been able to determine if the backmasking in the sound track is the same as the backmasking present in the game. I assume it to be so. I will try to find some software to play it backwards and confirm after I do so.

In Track 5:Mausoleum Suite (total run time 8:12)
Destroyer's Invocation 4:36
Falling Up 1:49
Infected 1:16
Shudder :29

Note: All times listed below are in respect to the total run time of the track.

The first instance starts at the 23 second mark (In the piece titled "Destroyer's Invocation") the backmasking begins and continues until the 1:20 mark.

EDIT: I have verified that this instance matches the one found in the game.

Given that there are titles for the Suites and the pieces of the suites, it gives us a little better clue as to who might be the voices talking.

My guess is that it is a Forerunner speaking. Being as 2401 Penitent Tangent stated that Delta Halo had been activated once before and thus why the Forerunners are not there, my guess is that the Destoryer's are the Forerunners, and therefore it is their Invocation which we hear.

The second instance starts at the 5:30 mark, in the piece titled "Infected" and continues until 6:16.

EDIT 2: I can't crack this one. It is not simply backmasked. It seems to have more noise to it, so it's hard to understand. Anyone else want to take a crack at it? PM me or reply to this post and I'll send you the 2nd instance sample.
