I think that's a good idea, I don't think MC realised the trouble it would cause to the board sending out text updates instead of the standard web updates

...breaks loose

I don't have time to explain what's going on now, but it looks like I've let something terrible happen. I can't believe it myself, but Miranda killed Cymbalisty, and I inadvertantly helped cover up for her. I'm in Grand Frederik's Station right now looking for her, but she's abandoned her key, so I can't trace her. I can hardly go to the police, either.
What I have done is register her as a Missing Person. This means that if she goes on any type of public transport, which includes rail, subway, cars - pretty much anything that moves fast - then she'll be recognised by their surveillance cameras and reported. She won't be able to move far, and if she does, I'll know where. The only problem is that she knows me too well. Well enough to know that I've done this.
I need to finish integrating the Missing Person notifications into my key. I'll tell you more tonight, when I have time.

My money is on Miranda turning up dead in an apparent accident/suicide/whatever, with just enough evidence pointing to her involvement in Cymbalisty's death.

Just posted that as a separate thing sledgecallier as I thought it was more important that the 2 texts (which are really just to get people who aren't too into the game more drawn in imho and give them the web address).
And LOL, sorry that you feel that way locqust

Kinda ironic that Kurt'd blog is entitled ...breaks loose... when that's exactly what's happening on the boards!!

Quick suggestion: Everyone breathe . We don't require five confirmations of the fact that everyone has received a text message, I think we all got the point by now...
One person should post, and it's whoever gets their post up first. Open the thread in another window or tab a second time, and hit refresh once you've typed your own post up and are about to hit "Submit". If nobody else has posted in the meantime, then hit "Submit". It's not foolproof, but this is just getting slightly ridiculous...
Calm down dear, it's just a text message

Breaks loose is right. I can see this snowballing very quickly, and it's going to to be interesting to watch what goes down, Be nice if Miranda didn't die tho, she could be of use to us all yet.
