[UPDATE] Path of least time 4th May 2006 Update 2

...breaks loose

I don't have time to explain what's going on now, but it looks like I've let something terrible happen. I can't believe it myself, but Miranda killed Cymbalisty, and I inadvertantly helped cover up for her. I'm in Grand Frederik's Station right now looking for her, but she's abandoned her key, so I can't trace her. I can hardly go to the police, either.
What I have done is register her as a Missing Person. This means that if she goes on any type of public transport, which includes rail, subway, cars - pretty much anything that moves fast - then she'll be recognised by their surveillance cameras and reported. She won't be able to move far, and if she does, I'll know where. The only problem is that she knows me too well. Well enough to know that I've done this.
I need to finish integrating the Missing Person notifications into my key. I'll tell you more tonight, when I have time.
[EDIT] Just changed the title to make it fit in line with the rest.

Grand Frederiks is where Kurt surprised her the other day on her return from the "conference".
Presumably his unwitting covering up for her or whatever was maintaining her alibi?

Breaks loose indeed!
So, questions:
-How'd she get the drug from a double-blind test?
-Does Kurt think she killed him based on any evidence other than her being the one to steal the drug (she may have sold it... though her working with Cymbalisty makes it more likely that she did it)
-How did she know that he knows?
-How did he help cover up for her?
-Why did she do it (assuming that he's correct, which seems probable)?

Anyone else worried that Kurt may not make it til 'tonight' to tell us more?

I assume the covering up refers to the little trip they took that weekend, leaving early the day Cymbalisty may have taken the overdose. Thus giving her an alibi (though certainly not air-tight).

OK, so presumably the identity of 'HG' led Kurt directly - and possibly even immediately - to Miranda's involvement in Cymbalisty's death. Was she HG? Was she the one that administered the fatal dose of C6 to Cymbalisty? If so, how did she know it would be lethal? And most importantly, who was she directly working for? V?

I can see it now... "That's a funny place for a canoe.." followed by a dead Kurt.

Don't forget rollerboots/blades and skateboards (or are they too fast)
Lol Axys - Cue smutty canoe jokes, where's Chris got to?

Fantastic! She's outed at last. And Kurt called us all paranoid and accused us of starting a witchhunt.
Plus, a text from Kurt - how cool is that?
Excuse my low-content post - I'm all excited.

I was buzzing when I first saw the text, and the 2nd one, and then the update to the site, the only thing I could think of was post on unforums, how sad is that, LOL.

Why is Kurt's life so much more exciting than anyone else's? I certainly havn't found that a degree in Natural sciences puts me in a position for mad hunts around cities for missing persons, or deep involved schemes to rob compounds of vital technology or any of that stuff.
And Grr. if she got on a tube at GF's station before the missing persons went up, she could be anywhere in the city by now. It's a central hub for transport both above and below ground. Talk about the best possible place to drop your key.

My guess is that we're going to be finding Miranda's body by the end of the day.
She knows too much if she was sent to spy on Kurt and the CRT, as well as kill Cymbalisty.
She's a liability to 3P (assuming) if she got found out by Kurt.
