Update: Noahboddy.com 11/13/02 Didn't it used to say "password" at the bottom of the page underneath the pawns? (At least, when there wasn't that eerie eye graphic there.)
Well, now it says "word:" and the word is linked to a hint , which is a page with a starfield background and a picture of a moon in the center with odd writing overlaying it. It says "right" on the left-hand side and "left" on the right-hand side. I'm pretty sure what's on the moon is supposed to represent 11/13/02 - 4:00 PST. Sound familiar?

First thing that popped into mind. Sort of goes along with that "After Dark Melodies" clue too.

Actually, the first thing that came to my mind, being that "Optometrist=Vision" was that "After Dark Melodies=Lullabies"
My wild spec for the clue...

Did anyone cache those pages? They are gone now!
"Word:" has been replaced with "Password" again

I still have those windows opened, so if you excuse my ignorance and tell me how to cache the page, or how to save the source page, I'll do my best.

quickest way is to right click in the window and click "save page as.."

You can save the page by going to File > Save As in Internet Explorer.
You can save the source (with IE) by right clicking the page (not the picture), going to View Source, then saving the file that opens in Notepad.

We don't need the moon pictures with numbers since those have already been posted.
But not being computer literate , but being curious, I looked at the source pages.
I thought it odd, because the first source page has very little on it.
The second source page is full, has strange characters on it, in different colors, and some of them are flashing. Now, I don't know if that's typical or not. But, cyberthea entitled that one "outsmart..".
I'm working with netscape, the source page can't be right clicked, even if I highlight it. And if I go to the header, the only choices I have, are to minimize or close.
Is there a function button which will let me save the source page,
and do you think it's even worth saving.
Sorry, for the long post.
Barking up the wrong tree?

From the menu, click View/Page Source.

Thanks for all your help and patience.
I see now that if you go to moa-Night's paper clip and view>page source, it's all there.
Is that unusual?
I'm trying to learn.
And, trying to look beyond the obvious. (leaves me somewhere in oblivion.)
vvith appreciation,
