I think the map idea is spot on. I think it looks likely the location of Miranda is the intersection of the four buildings shown. (See Fabs_uk post) This would put the location into a map area we don't seem to have so it may be worth relaying the info to Violet?? Something maybe parallel to Azad Lane and Ascendency way??

[EDIT] Certainly we can confirm that the intersection is not in old town...[/Edit]

ideas...

so it's the triple wheel stadium, the scott young memorial plaza, the tanhill botanical gardens and the hausen amphitheatre, making a cross on the map leading to an unknown map piece..... what lies there, and does it have an apartment no. 7196???

It looks like it might be further down azad lane to me, could 7196 be the house number or something like that?

It's in the 'Artist's quarter',
Where Miranda Moved from

It crosses over at either Polygon North or Auger Park... I think the former

I agree, it makes sense - anyone e-mailed Violet??

Do we now assume that this is where Miranda is hiding??

[quote="Tintintin"]Hmm... given the Sentinel's speculation that the explosion was caused by a gas leak, could they be some sort of diagram of gas pipes? Sewers? Subway lines? Or maybe they're the footprint or cross-section of buildings on a plan?

What about in one of the flats they was making black market drugs and something went wrong badly? The paper could be part of a diagram on the processes of making it? The flat was in a dodgy area. We could e mail the drugs company with the pic of the paper and see if they recognize it.

Which card has the back of the intersection? Any idea

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's card 203 - a wave 4 card.

Here's my theory. Miranda needed to get rid of some evidence at her old apartment, so she left a small fire burning in a bedroom, and turned on the gas burners to her apartment stove, extenguished the flames, leaving gas pouring into the room. On her way out of the building, Kurt was heading in and saw her. He took off after her, a small struggle ensued and then the explosion happened. Debris hits Kurt and Miranda gets away, however unwittingly she leaves behind this scrap of paper leading to her whereabouts. Unfortunately, but the time we decipher it and send someone there, she will have undoubtably already moved to a newer safer location. Smile

I swear, I'm not pessimistic. Let's get there before she has the chance to move out!!!

Ok, using a printer and a ruler, I've managed to deduce that the lines would cross at the intersection of

Polis Avenue and Azad Lane

going back to my earlier idea, kurt said
Quote:
This means that if she goes on any type of public transport, which includes rail, subway, cars - pretty much anything that moves fast - then she'll be recognised by their surveillance cameras and reported.
i have overlayed the scrap of paper over the subway map. it could be a trace of her movements in the recent time period. The circles could represent sightings in stations and the hexagons boarding disembarking points.
