TEXT and QuirkyAcuity.com 5/05/06

Firstly I got a text through PXCSENTINAL from Violet
text wrote:

Kurt was caught in an explosion. I found him at the hospital, bleeding and unconscious. He had a coded note - we need to figure it out fast: www.quirkyacuity.com

Then I went to QuirkyAcuity.com to find this:

I won't riddle you around - Kurt almost died getting hold of this note, so it must be important. And as long as Miranda's on the loose, he isn't safe.

We need to track her down fast, and a thousand minds are better than one. See if you can figure out what all this means. I'm working on it, but if you get a solution, contact me on violetSPLATquirkyacuity.com.

Where have you seen this amphitheatre before? Is it on your Perplex City Map?

I'm looking at http://www.perplexcitymap.com/

And the bottom right looks a lot like Triple Wheel Stadium

Dont know in which thread to post this, as there are two 'duplicate duplicate'[sic] threads, (through no fault of your own by the eay as the server seems to be kind of slow at the moment, maybe the rush of people logging on as a result of the texts)...
however, I have created a thread about this i the puzzles section.

Looking at the note, I first noticed what looked like the three circles of the Triple Wheel Stadium. Checking the map, all the shapes appear to be in Perplex City:

Top Left Shape: Tanhill Botanical Gardens
Top Right: Hausam Ampitheatre
Bottom Left: Scott Young Memorial Plaza
Bottom Right: Triple Wheel Stadium

At a guess, there may be something worthwhile exploring at the point that lies in the middle of these places. See the attached diagram that I quickly stuck together. It looks sloppy, I know, but never mind!

Does anyone have the card where the two line meet?

It appears to be the card between the base of ascendancy point and artists quarter part 2.

Any thoughts?

The card in question is either 204 or 202. I'll check the Catalog website.

Neither card is listed on the Catalog and it was 203 not 202, sorry.

Looks like the card is not available... Guess we need to get Violet on the case?

Looking at the Sentinal (and where the lines meet), I was thinking that someplace like Seasons might be great for a meet-up -- it's terribly crowded right now (being the hottest spot in the Artist's quarter).

Has anyone noticed that the missing map pieces should include the two subway stops Auger Park and Polygon North. I would surmise based on the subway map that the location is probably closer to Auger Park.

I just emailed Violet asking her to look at a copy of the map.

The autoreply is still on!

I'll let you know if I get another reply.

Starting at 10am tomorrow is the Polygon Marathon which "loops north through the commercial district" from Polygon Park.

There are 18k runners, so perhaps 7196 is a vest number? But whose?

no-one seems to have mentioned the 4 numbers that are on the left side of the note.

It Says- No. 7196

Could it be an apartment number or something else along those lines?
