[PPM] Organised Search #2: Puzzle Marathon 268 (completed) OK, so we've gone through 268/267 Main Marathon competitors, let's have a look at the Puzzle Marathon, just to be sure.
If you'd like to help, just say and I'll add your name to the next set of pages.
Don't forget it might be wise to look for Miranda's alias name, Helen Gale as well.

Yup, i'll start 50-100
Remember to get to the puzzle results you have to manually edit the search string:
http://www.polygonparkmarathon.com/resultpages.php?race=&year=268&start=0
to
http://www.polygonparkmarathon.com/resultpages.php?race=puzzle&year=268&start=0
(add the race=puzzle part)

Right, I've added the 'puzzle' bit to the link in the first post to hopefully make it a bit easier
No luck thus far, will keep looking though...

Great, welcome aboard barry
EDIT: Gah, I've just realised there aren't as many entrants for the Puzzle marathon, it only goes up to 360 pages.
So, I've done 301-320 so far, barry if you started at 360 and work back to 320 i'll go back and do 151-200.

Wow great, if you can, could you go back to 200? I've done up to there with nothing to report.
I'm going to back to main and finish the set of pages that didnt get done.
Even if this doesn't turn up anything, at least we'll have eliminated one of the uses for the website, after all it can't just be there for nothing.
Better to be safe than sorry

Done that, though I feel my concentration waning! Agree that this site must have a purpose though and this would be a puzzle/game that that requires collaboration, so classic MC stuff.

Great work chaps Now everyone blink ... I just know I'm going to see scrolling coloured lines when I try and go to sleep tonight...
I guess we're yet to find the reasoning behind this site... I've checked the rest of the Main marathon pages and there's nothing of much use there.
I emailed Kurt and Violet asking them for Miranda's info (height age etc.) and if they knew (or could find out) which years she raced and what time she did it in, and the charity she represented. Then perhaps we could match her info up and find another pseudonym of hers?? Just have to wait and see if they reply, I guess.
Sudden thought: should this be in Puzzles, ye goodly moderator-types? Or is it ok where it is?

[Query] It is me or is there a correlation between first names and surnames. Lot's of famous people and character names. I also saw at least two Meade's though of course making a list of this length is not an easy task.
Also anyone tried putting Miranda or Helen Gale through an anagram generator, just a thought.

If I had to guess, I'd say that she probably represented the charity MEND.
Anyway, do we have any programmers amongst us? A program that went through every entry automatically and entered it into a database or something searchable would be useful.
