Maybe someone can help me. I put in my phone number how they said for the rest of the world: + "Country Code" "Phone number" So in my case using x's rather than my number I put in +1xxxyyyzzzz. However, I did this three days ago and I haven't received a single message. It's really irritating me. I want to get them. I want to help.

You're not the only one. there are a few of us experiencing the same thing.. out of curiousity who is your service provider? (also, it's worth mentioning that under some plans, text messaging isn't turned on)

I'm using Cingular. Text messaging is turned on for our plan. I don't use it personally, but my brother uses it occasionally, so it's on. Maybe I should email Mind Candy. Or who should I be emailing?

Same. Have Cingular, entered +1<area code><phone number>. Text messaging is turned on, no text's yet.

Just messaged accountsSPLAT perplexcity.com. I can't check my email for a few hours. School, then work, but I put in my general location (City, state, country), my service provider and indicated the text messaging is on.
Might be something with Cingular for all we know not accepting text messages from other countries. I'm not sure.

I'm on Verizon as well.. I'm wondering if it's somehow being flagged as spam... it's taken a week but it seems it's not isolated to just one service provider (Verizon, Cingular, Sprint..) unless the people in the US that are receiving them have T-mobile or something..
someday I'll get around to registering..

I can say that I have T-Mobile and have successfully received PXC texts.
Can we get confirmation from someone in Cingular and/or Verizon that they have received PXC texts as well? This would help prove/disprove that it's related to the cellular service providor.

I have Cingular, text messaging capability, and have not received any PXC texts.

I actually went so far as to go to verizon and ask them.. they told me I was nuts.. (I am.. but that's neither here nor there..) I'm going to call them later. maybe we can figure out what's going on..

I'm also with Verizon...no luck receiving them here either, so I will be glad to hear if there is a solution.

I also updated my cell/ mobile number on Friday, but there have not been any text messages sent out by Mind Candy since. As a result, I am not sure if it is working with my new Fido phone or not. Shame they don't send a test message when you fill in your mobile number.
Best of luck getting hooked up, because I think this is a fun way to interact with Kurt et al.
