[UPDATE] The Path of Least Time-09th May update3-Drowsington

Drowsington

I just arrived in Drowsington, whose name happens to be a pretty accurate description of its nature. The view here is only slightly more interesting than the fields I saw out of the train window.

My first task was to check out the pharmacy. I'd already called them as soon as I'd made the Oxxypro discovery, but they informed me that they were closed on Tuesdays and they hadn't had seen my 'missing girlfriend' on Monday. I'm assuming that this means she'll be making her move some time tomorrow, so I'll be watching the pharmacy closely starting from the morning.

There's one interesting thing about Drowsington - the ferry service. If you want to cross the River Mazy, it's easy enough - you just hop on a train or subway or car, and you'll go through a bridge or a tunnel. There are ferry services in Perplex City as well, but they're all registered with the public transport system, following some problems with pollution and accidents. In other words, if you want to cross the river, and you don't want to use pubilc transport - well, you can't.

Drowsington, inconveniently enough, not only has a pharmacy that supplies Oxxypro, but also a antiquated 'tourist' ferry service that is not registered with the public transport system, or indeed the Missing Persons service. I've already informed them about Miranda, but I highly doubt they'll be of any use tracking her down. If Miranda can get over the river with a supply of Oxxypro, she could easily disappear in the plains to the south.

The best traps are baited not with something they want, but with something they need.

Feel free to quote me on that. But if this doesn't work and Miranda/Jean/Helen gets away, we'll be left with only one option...

Call Jack Bauer. <Dramatic Music>

[EDIT]...and is it just me or are Tippy, Scarlett, Sente, and the rest of the CRT just taking a break now while Kurt runs field ops and Violet mans the base?

Luckily the whole Oxxypro/disease (or rather asthma) theory turned out to be correct. And even more luckily it applied directly to Miranda.

If we get a webpage for the pharmacy we might be able to track her back even farther than just the last two marathons. Pharmacies are real good at keeping records for controlled drugs and who buys them.

Oh, I hate waiting...
