Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The sequence of words can be divided into four sentences, each of which is a clue to the answer

I worked out what proved to be the answer over the weekend (didnt hav a chance to put it in until today), and worked it out thanks to the
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Noah's ark hint.
I can see how that relates to the
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'promise' part of the list of words
and maybe i can understand how the answer relates to the
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'canvas' part
but i dont see how the rest fits in. If anyone would care to provide a more detailed explanation, it would be great, and if noone fancies posting it on the boards yet, just PM me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first and fourth sentences relate the answer to mythology. The second sentence relates the answer to the bible. I think the third sentence may have an error in it - I can't understand it!

Hope I didn't make it too obvious. Some of the silver cards are a real pain to not accidentally scratch off the numbers.

I've taken to scratching silver scratch-panels slowly and carefully with the non-metallic side of the edge of a plastic strip of paracetamol tablets (Hope that extended sentence made some amount of sense).
It has just the right rigidity to slowly push the scratch-stuff (what the hell is that material called anyway?) off the card, but is flexible and smooth enough to bend without gouging the print off the foil backing.

I've actually resorted to very gently using my thumb nail. Seems to do the job but a bit messy. Not for people with manicures

I Belive that the scratch off panels are made of Latex or something similar, I find that a 2 pence coin is the best to scratch of the panels

I usually use a coin as well, only some of the silvers easily have the numbers scratched off when using a coin. And I'm not talking about using a lot of force either. It's definitely worth being careful. Must be an adhesion problem with the silver backing and the printing.
