Actually, there is no limit, and it is multiline (at least from what I've experienced). Try using the the up arrow key after typing in a load of rubbish.

Since Joop has his own thread now, I'll mention that his foot is pointed to (and bobbling slightly over) the active projects links. I think this is to call attention to it in relation to the text book. Something up there (in the box - which is lined up with his hand) connects to the link(s) at his foot.

I've been interested in the red pattern that appears on the Joop web cam. Since there are only 2 different frames which alternate, I screen-captured both, and tried overlaying them to try and better resove the red to see if it means something, but no luck yet. It may just be me, but I see letters in the pattern.

Mind posting those pictures? I don't think I've seen that frame.

On the subject of Joop, who is the man who appears on the webcam? Or did I imagine this when half looking at the picture?

No I saw him too, but there is no way we're going to be able to make any kind of analysis on something that fleeting/faint.
It is probably not meant for anything beyond effect at this time.
But if anyone can grab a freeze frame of the image that would rock.

Like I said in another thread, it looked to me like one said 'password', but i think that was just me trying to make sense of it

Here they are. I still can't say if there is a pattern there, or if it just an artifact of the site being compromised by Persephone.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
he also looks a lot like the real (deceased) Henry Gale/driver's license photo

If you don't tell people what the spoiler is about, how do they know if they want to read it or not?

Could be letters, hard to tell. The red is definitely in front of the figure in the white lab coat.
