I find it odd that many of the surnames listed could be first names as well...Allen, Charles, Paul, Bennet, Austin, and Brooks. Probably insignificant, but worth pointing out.

Well, Thomas Werner Mittlewerk wouldn't show up on that page anyway, even if he had attended CalTech, since it's alphabetized by first name and only goes to F.
Which again, goes to what is with this list? Is it supposed to be the alumni database or a tuition payment report (Persephone alludes to both.) And since it's not the page that should have TWM's name on it, then why is she showing it to us?
Sometimes I get the feeling that we are following the delusional ravings of a crazy person. Now THAT would be a twist of LOST proportions...

Is it just a matter of the texture used, or does it look like there's a picture in the background (specifically above the numbers found - it looks like there's a man wearing a jacket of some sort, almost like it's a photograph with the exposure number).

Anyone decompiling the flash able to find it?

.
The next name after F section, by first name, would likely be Gary Troup.

maybe there's a next page or something. Other sources say Troup attended Caltech

nevermind that. I'm an idiot.

Which sources? That would be quite a connection.

I would be interested in hearing where this came up in-game as well; Troup's author bio on garytroup.net lists no academic information, and Googling for "Gary Troup Caltech" produced nothing.

I did some googling on the names listed, just to see if anything came of it.

Alan Frost -- I found absolutely nothing
Adam Shuttleworth -- Nothing that could be construed as important to us.
Andreas Ackermann -- There are some German doctors (or maybe just one.. I can't really tell) that go by this name, but my German is reeeeally limited, so I can't give you much on that. I don't think any of them are in-game, though.
Anne Allen -- Nothing.
Alexander Gould -- Um, a 12 year old actor? On his IMDB page, I found out that they're making a "How to Eat Fried Worms" movie. *SQUEE* Er, that's not the point. He was the voice for Nemo, too. LOL. Also not the point.
Berenice Charles - I found two French sites with the name, but my French is even more limited than my German. It doesn't look like anything for us, though.
Benjamin Paul -- Benjamin Paul Blood was an American philosopher and poet who died in 1919... and Benjamin Paul Akers was a sculptor in the mid-1800s. Not too exciting.
Barney Perly -- Google's got nothin'
Carl Bennet -- Nothing
Charles Mitchum -- Nada
Edwin Austin -- Most common return is for Edwin Austin Abbey, an American artist who died in 1911.
Elwyn Brooks -- Most common return is Elwyn Brooks White, better known as E.B. White, author of Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little.

I think it's pretty safe to say that as of yet, these names have no significance. *sigh*

What system is used for the dates? Is 01/06 the British system for June 1st? I learned British English in school, but we never wrote dates that way...
Anyway, what possible use would there be to put one letter of the alphabet to any given day in June?
Or is it the 6th of each month? But then it would stop after L...?

Commercial was on during Lost again. New things added.

Bottom left, it says "paid for by Sprite TM"

At the end, it says to go to the website sublymonal.

Trout me if this has been said.

SORRY!

Disregard. I have no idea where I got that. I swore I saw that somewhere, that he was an alumni of Caltech, but I am pretty sure I was wrong.

You probably saw it about Mittelwerk. No big deal, it happens. Smile
