thelsdj: Could you please go into more detail about how you found the apology page? I know what a Vigenere cipher is, but what was the plaintext and what was the key?

On the main cryptochuck page the final section had the letters m o r e a u italicized, and the clue 'my favorite book' was on the vampires page, then we had the clue, vampires + ???? = coelacanth, the ciphertext of 'twstgryqrhmwdxogsli ' was on the coelacanth page, so combining his favorite book 'the island of doctor moreau' with the ciphertext gave 'apologydothtml'

Oh, man. No one ever believes that I'm cursed, but it's true. God loves playing jokes on me. I'm always checking the sites for new stuff, clues, story developments... anything. And it's been dead for the past week. But the one day that I'm gone at a concert all day, all this action happens.

Even worse, I haven't gotten the postcard. FEEL my dilemma.
