If he means Sarah Wyatt then things have changed. You see in 2003, at first Sarah was an artist who had gone insane and disappeared... then when The Wish changed things so that Diana and Meghan survived, it was Sarah in the car accident.

So it looks like there is some information that has changed... Sam Green is a woman(?) and Sarah Wyatt is alive and working on things. Shocked Silly

Got my stuff today also.

Included with the comic book were six white Admit One tickets (like the red tickets seen on AGP's website. And a Season Pass ticket (see below). The numbers are not in sequence. The six tickets are: 2874021, 2874028, 2874039, 287441, 2874051, and 2874054

On the back of the Season Pass ticket are some letters. Wonder if they will be a password for access into AGP's website at a later date, or if they are a code. Not sure if we are to share these letters or not.

The preorder package also included an art print of the cover SIGNED by Dale Sprague (in silver pen). Cool way to keep to TINAG.

The front of the comic specifically states:
Quote:
With the exception of artwork used for review purposes, none of the contents of this publication may be reprinted without the permission of Dave Szulborski and James Curcio.
I know that means not scanning and posting the comic book, but what about sections (like Dale's journal on the back page).

Inside the comic is mentioned Klepsydra (which is still an active website), Ash Grove Park, Aglaura NJ (web page not updated yet), an ad for the library's spring art show featuring artwork, books, poetry and multimedia works by "Timothy Weathers, Sarah Wyatt, Wes Keeler, Brianna Stover and more!", Wes Keelers Emporium of the Weird (his old website was a link off Aglaura's site and it is not available), a copy of the NJ State Police Accident Report and the photo of the contents of Dale's pocket (these were both items we saw in the original CTW ARG). His own website, Synthasia.com is on the About the Author page.

There is an advertisment for the following a back page above the ad for Synthasia web design:

Code:
The Egg. What if it all suddenly became real"
Coming in 2006 on New Fiction
www.theeggmovie.com

In the back is a journal page; kept by Dale while he was writing the Chasing The Wish comic, and some pages from a notebook he says were written "while half-asleep: I'm still not quite sure what it means" (One is a page with the star, moon, cloud on top, with numbers inside of triangles and a poem below. The other page is has words with numbers inside of half a parenthesis
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(I think this was one we had to fold to read).
. These appear to be puzzles we had during the original CTW.

And there is a full page ad for AVP video (they did our video taping at the ARGFest in NY last year).

That ticket is way kewl Kona.

Dio found the Journal is also on line: http://www.thewishcomic.com/journal/ Is this the same as on the back cover?

and confirmation that Sam (in this timeline anyway) is female:

Dale's creator journal wrote:
Sam felt bad she couldn't help out as she said she would

and from March 21, 2003... E-mail from Dale that had info from Sam in it:

Quote:
From my talk with Sam a little while ago, it seems Aglaura has really been going through some unusual times, ... But he also said that there have been other people...

edited for research info

Some other stuff..

The back of ther comic mentions Dale's Creators Journal for the comic.

Also, I just realized that Wes is still dead in this Reality, (so his art beign shown at the library must be art from when he was alive), so one wonders HOW he died here.

Lets see also in the Package.... another ticket like the one shown above.. mine has a handwritten set of numbers and letters on the back however.

Also there are a bunch of regular old "admit one" ride-type tickets.

Perhaps its tiem to split this thread up? Create a few more? As websites udate itd be nice to be able to discuss different Puzzles, Comic volumes, and websites seperately.

I think Kona already said it, but those letters on the back of the tickets may be our personal passcodes to the online comic, and maybe aren't supposed to be shared.... I think until we get some kind of notification about the online comic {how/where to get to it} we should maybe not share them? I mean, yeah, could be a puzzle... but since that was the only thing with a code on it, and the pre-order people get to see the online comic, i just don't know how else they would keep track of us? i dunno. I know I could be wrong, but.... maybe?

PS- yeah, got mine today too... gonna frame the pic and hang it near my compy in the new house!!! I am such a geek.

Mystery words

I am going to foolishly rush in and make the assumption that the "words" on the back of the Ash Grove Park tickets are in-game.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
My secret word is: DIYVENX, and my ticket number is: 375066. My "admit one" ticket numbers are: (they all start 28740) 05, 20, 27, 47, 55, and 57.

The Journal page in the back of the comic is NOT the same as what is posted online.

It's all about his dreams.

Quote:
While writing Chasing The Wish, I've
made it a habit to keep a notebook
beside my bed, so I can write down
my dreams, as soon as I wake up. This
is one of those dreams I found
interesting, even though it's not part of
the Chasing The Wish story.
Dale

I think this might be the start of a new story??? I don't want to break any copyright rules by posting a scan or typing out the full page. I think I will email Dale and ask if I can share his dream with some friends of mine.

Quote:
Dale,
I have the pleasure of being one of the first to read your story. But it is the dream from your journal that fascinates me even more. Dreaming about animals is very powerful. I have some friends who like to practice dream interpretation - may I have your permission to post a scan of this page in their discussion group?
Thank you,
HLH

As for my ticket and the letters on the back of mine. They are different from what is posted above - so I'm thinking they are a passcode. If it becomes apparent that we need these codes as a collective, of course I will share (I think I have already solved mine, if it's in code, because I found a very good word that would fit a substitution decipher).

In the source code of the page is this web address as well as the following comment; "There is nothing to see here, go away now".

I also sent an email to "contact" asking for more information and received an automated response.
Quote:
Thank you for contacting The Egg. Someone will review your email and respond should it be appropriate.

*edit
Just got another email response from "theeggmovie".

Since this website is linked to New Fiction, I'm thinking this might be another project Dave S. is working on.

Anyone in the UK got their comic yet? If they're being sent from the west coast it can take two weeks to get to us! Panic setting in

I got mine today, same things as Kona inside. It was mailed from pa. so hopefully won't take as long to get across the big pond.

My letters and numbers were also different. If we find that we need to share, there's no problem with that.
