I can confirm that we've got a script, a total camera d00d, a place, a cast, and a time.
Given that I don't have any of those things, should I be worried? Laughing
I do have a secret idea though, I just hope that it is memorable and that I can pull it off in time.

I didn't have any of them either. What I did have was a computer, some random thoughts in my head, and waaaaay too much spare time Very Happy

I wouldn't worry too much. There was a time when nobody had any of those things. Except maybe the camera, which I had just because I happen to have a Hi8 camera lying around that I can use since I can't get the digital stuff.

And so Day Two of filming begins today in a few hours. I'm having fun, actually. Yesterday was an exercise is total all-out guerrilla filmmaking at it's finest and nearly included being chased by security. Today is going to be my first day doing the directing, lighting and writing all on the same scene so I'm excited about that (plus we have an absolutely wonderful location, which is great because last time I was in a scene the absolute perfect take on it was broken at the end by a train whistle). Tomorrow will be some incidental takes and then Monday we edit.

I'm having a great time and am glad they did this contest. I hope it gets more people involved with their local filmmakers.

EDIT: It is now Day Three of filming and we shall be shooting the stuff from Day Two. I wasn't able to film much yesterday, my cast was drunk. Smile If nothing else, this is quite a bonding experience for me and my friends.
