Phillip Gairden Metadex files

I don't know if this has been said in any other post (perhaps the moderators could lock this post if so), but on the Phillip's Metadex, there is a link (almost hidden by the e-mails over it) that directs to the attached image. It's apparently some scratches over the Dr. Kane's curriculum. I would like to know if some of you guys have already checked this.

It is probably best to let individual people do this for themselves (or to use a format other than jpeg for the flipped image). Since the original image is a jpeg, it is compressed with a lossy algorithm. Opening it in Photoshop, flipping it, then saving it as a jpeg compresses it again with a lossy algorithm. The result is something that causes the text to be pretty blocky. If an individual opens and flips the image without resaving it (or by saving it in a lossless file format), you don't get the double-compression artifacts and have a much more legible image.

The only reason I can read some of the smaller text on this flipped image is because I have seen it before double-compression and already know what it says. Smile
