I agree with doublecross, I think the Micronesia effect is part of the background cloud swirl. If you look at the swirl turning from white to black at the bottom of the card you get the same effect, just not as big a contrast.

I also think that the Micronesia islands wouldn't be big enough to be visible on this scale.

And for the record, I'm still going with the anagram line of reasoning. The difficult part is, as has been pointed out, getting the correct letters and the correct ordering .

I have an idea for the answer after doing some extensive research but I don't have this card.

If someone could mail me there code for me to try my answer it would be appreciated and if it's correct I will post the answer or some clues on here for everyone else, it may not be correct and if not I will post the answer I tried and why I tried it.

I also have a few ides but waiting for it to unlock at the moment - I have about 3 days worth of guesses at the moment.

Should they all fail and you havent got a card or code by then will send you my card even though I do not have a spare.

The reason I don't want to post the answer is :

1 If it's wrong I don't want everyone wasting a guess on it AND

2 I haven't come close to being a top solver yet on any card and this could be my only chance, so I would like the opportunity to try it, it's probably wrong but I'd like to try my answer anyway and a bit of glory would go a long way to boost my confidence, there's nothing wrong with that is there?? Everyone wants a 1st place solve and seeing as this has proved troublesome just thought someone might give me the opportunity to try my answer. If it's wrong like I said I will post my answer and explanation then if it's right then the card is solved.

If anyone offers me a code to try and my answer by some miracle is correct I will also mail them the solution so that they can claim 2nd spot.

Obviously all of this depends on getting a code and trying, so guys it's up to you and I will be very sorry if my solution is wrong !!!!

i totally agree with you, but i spent alot of money and went through alot of effort just to get the cards i have. i am not a top solver on any card either. so its a stalemate, i guess.

Ebay is full of PXC cards for sale...
Just buy one yourself for goodness sake.Then you can amaze us all.
I doubt a black wave 3 will fetch much over £2 by now.
This card has attracted getting on for 1,000 inspired guesses. I doubt anyone will give you a code for you to try yours.

I suspect (2) is more important than (1)!

Does your solution reflect the particular choice of countries on the card? If not, it is no more likely to be right than any of the 911 wrong answers tried so far (and counting).

sorry doublecross but ive studied the debate on micronesia and checked it with google earth and it lies smack bang on the nail for placement on the map its size is also correct, but should it be there ? its not as dark as the rest of the maps countries, but there argument changes and goes to size relation to the other countries one of the smallest being equatorial guinea which is at least 3 times bigger, so i have to agree with ramdom that it should be called into play with the rest

In answer to Doublecross the answer is yes, the countries on the card would not have been my exhaustive list but they all fit in to my solution and on the last point made I also believe that Micronesia should be included as it would also fit in to my line of thinking.

Sorry if you guys think I'm being big headed but like the rest of you I have also spent a lot of time (and money) on the cards and research and yes of course everyone wants to be the first to solve a puzzle and thought it would be nice for someone thick like me to do it (if my answer is correct which it probably isn't as pointed out). I'm not saying my answer is correct as until you try it you don't know but it hasn't been mentioned in the last 13 pages and so I thought it was worth a shot as no-one else seems to be getting any nearer to solving this.

Anyway, I'm sorry if I've offended anyone I'll try and get the card and have a go myself. Hope someone solves it soon. Good luck !

all i have to say is this is supposed to be a community game. not who does the best or who is the fastest. it doesnt matter who gets the solve first, what matters is the teamwork that goes into it.
