[CTW] Email Updates- Dale Sprague- 5-15-06

Per the PS in Dale's email...
Quote:
PS - I've been told by a couple of people that the silver pen I used to sign the art prints from the pre-order packages is smearing in some cases. I guess there's just no such thing as permanent any more, even when it says it right on the label. If you're one of the people who had the signature smear or get otherwise damaged in your pre-order package, please right to me at chasingthewishSPLATnew-fiction.com so I can make it right for you. I'm sorry for the problem.

I can confirm the silver comes off if you even look at it funny.
I'm not gonna trouble him with a replacement pic, but thought I should warn others not to "play" with the ink.

It's funny that today, they are repainting a lot of handrails at work (and putting up signs), and that there are a bunch of people running around with purple paint on their hands. Smile

And for my own Post Scriptum:
How's Dale's spelling, typically? Would he normally transpose the word "right" for "Write"?

Just for the record, here is the email from Dale.

Dear Chasing The Wish fan,
Hi, Dale Sprague here with your Chasing The Wish update, from beautiful downtown Aglaura, New Jersey. It's the middle of the night on the edge of the Pine Barrens, and I imagine that just about everyone in town is either asleep, or working one of the few midnight shifts we have around here. Me? I'm too excited to sleep. I've been anxious to send out this announcement message literally for months now, ever since it dawned on me that my comic book project was actually going to become a reality. And now, with the physical proof in my hands, my dream made real, the actual printed version of Chasing The Wish Book One, I can finally send the email I've been looking forward to for so long.

Chasing The Wish Book One is now available

"What if, once in our lives, in times of great desperation, or desire, each of us is given one wish that can change our lives, or even the world ? What if we are not allowed to remember the wish or understand its true consequences as our memory of making it is erased as soon as it is spoken ? What if there were a magical being known only as the Wish, who appeared to us at a time of its own choosing, at one special moment in our lives, and gave us the chance to make one spontaneous wish for whatever we wanted, and then wiped the experience from our consciousness to hide its existence?

And what if, for the first time ever, somebody didn't forget ? "

Chasing The Wish Book One 48 pp full color $8.00 US

Watch the brand new Chasing The Wish Book One trailer I just put together and uploaded to several places around the 'net.

You can watch it at: You Tube and The Wish Comic

Signed copies of Chasing The Wish Book One
For a limited time, you can purchase a personally signed copy of Chasing The Wish Book One for only $12.00 US, plus shipping. You can get details about the limited signed copies and other special Chasing The Wish offers at the main website for the comic book, www.thewishcomic.com. There aren't a lot of them to go around so they won't last long. Get yours now.

I hope you find the news of the release of Chasing The Wish Book One as exciting as I do. By the time you read this, almost everyone who pre-ordered the book should have received their package, and the first batch of regular orders are on their way as well.

Be sure to check out my Creator's Journal at www.thewishcomic.com/journal. I'm in the process of moving most of my old journal entries there and will begin making new posts about the Chasing The Wish production process very soon too. So keep watching.

Thanks again for your support. I hope you love Chasing The Wish Book One.

Dale Sprague

Nothing too exciting there, but maybe worth watching/subscribing to in case Dale ever puts a clue video up.

Yeah I already found the journal last week. It was mentioned in a small corner of the comic. Posted about it in one of the other threads. I'm too sick to find which one right now.
