to be exact its X= 629 Y= 291

Yeah, I thought the date might be important for finding something on the page. After trying everything except for that obvious solve, I defaulted to using the tab button and found the link that way. I forgot about the significance of the date at that point, so I just rounded the number to make it easier for people to find. Dunce

Another connection between gary troup and lost!

(Lost Diaries Spoiler)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

In the first season diaries, wefind that there is a character on the isle called Janelle Granger. Laird Granger is the name of the man that interviews Gary troup in the online videos!

Just posting to let you guys know that there was another commercial during lost today that featured this website instead of the Hanso Foundation one. Otherwise, exactly the same commercial.

Is anyone else out there having trouble loading the new site? Is it just me - Dunno - or is there just a ton of traffic on it because of the ad during the show?

Edit: OK, now the hanso foundation site seems to be hung up, too. Bang Head

Good night, folks. I look forward to reading all your discoveries in the a.m.

I can not get in either. And when I did, I could not get the McIntyre password to work. I tried spaces/no spaces, Caps/no caps. I even cut and pasted from this forum and the ASCII converter, but it never did anything.

What if I may ask, do you get after the password is accepted?

Edited-Nevermind I found it in the other (correct) thread.

google searchs

I've just randomly been typing in clues and names into google to see what comes up...and this still puzzles me.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the game, but the fact that The Hanso Foundation supposedly sponsers it?? Weird...

re: the end of the jeep commercial

Though it's hard to see clearly, I'd venture to guess, that the bottom words at the end of the .mov found in McIntyre's mail say
Permissum vestri complector rector vos
Let your compass guide you...sounds like a Jeep slogan to me.
(See MrBeefy's post of the pic on the previous page.)
There's alot of redundancy built into this game.
Let me say that again.....no, nm.

I'm new at this and haven't had time to go through all the posts, so forgive me if this is old information.

A friend and I were watching lost today and we saw the "letyourcompassguideyou" commercial. Did anyone else call the phone number provided (1-877-HANSORG or 1-877-426-7674).

When we were listening to the first choice (general information) on our first call, the recorded message was cut off in the middle and some lady said some things that i couldn't make out besides "want to know the truth about the hanso foundation" and something about a password that sounded like "break free".

The next time we called, the general information message was different and just listed the address and other information.

EDIT: Crap, just read the Quick Reference Guide. Anyway, Hello all!

I hope I don't repeat stuff that's been said, but I don't want to miss any of CSI NY, so I just have to post this...

On the west coast they aired The Hanso Foundation TV ad that you see on the site, only at the end of the show they said to go to the new website "www.letyourcompassguideyou.com. I recall how McIntyre said that The Hanso Foundation website would be taken down soon, so maybe this site is their new website. Although that has me scratching my head because there are still entry fields at the original site that haven't been accessed yet.

As for the compass, I noticed on the show that when Michael looked at it on his way to find Walt, that it showed South at 0 degrees, but instead of facing down like it is on the pictures, it was facing where 0 degrees would normally be on a circle, as in towards your right hand side. Also, notice how the center of the compass is the same as the center of the Ba-Gua. I'll go into more detail after I get back and finish reading this thread and checking out the site for myself a little.

Its probably nothing but did anyone else notice how the majority of the modified dates for the /usr page are 10-May-2006 10:55 but a select few have different times? (Like aoconnor/, acarpus/, hmcintyr/, owelles/, pthompso/, and sconroy/) Im wondering if those directories are the ones persephone has been in/modified.

Hey everyone, could we please utilise the new threads setup for this weeks update, to try and keep the forum as easy to follow as possible?

A thread has been set up for discussion on the New Site "Letyourcompassguideyou" here: Forum Discussion

and a thread has been setup for discussion on the THF.ORG update (including hmcintyr's bio and what ever's found after it) Here: forum discussion

Thanks everyone! Lets try and make it easier on the forum mods Smile

First, sorry about my above reply. I just felt I should post that right away since I new posters on the east coast might have been going to bed soon, and I knew I wouldn't be back on here for a couple hours. Clearly the other site is still active as well.

Reading this are you saying we should comment on these two sites in those two other threads instead of this one? If so, maybe this thread should be locked with these precise instructions. In not, then is it ok to still reply to posts in this thread?
