I just wasted two guesses on
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Lewis Carroll

and

John Tenniel

because I thought the card said "Who SIGNED?" rather than "Who SIGHED?".

Can someone post a scan of the map piece on the back?

Hey wizzsteve2 - I think you might be making the same mistake I did when I first got this card. I assumed:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
they wanted the name as it's given in the text, i.e. the Wasp, but they actually want it as given in the chapter title, i.e. the Wasp in a Wig

Hope that helps.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The only text that refers to the guy in the story refers to him as one of the following three options:

"a very old man"
"The Wasp"
"A wasp in a wig" (The name of the chapter, at least, according to this site.)

http://www.alice-in-wonderland.net/?alice4.html

To me, this is three options, and you get three guesses a day. Also, the last guess looks like the correct one. This makes me wonder why so many people have been camplaining that they keep putting in the right answer and it says it's wrong, but anyway. Can confirm that "a wasp in a wig" is accepted.

The chess board pattern on the card is a pointer to the current edition of "The Annotated Alice Definitive Edition" by Martin Gardner.

I can confirm that
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A wasp in a wig
is correct.

It probably doesn't matter, but I thought I'd add that:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
wasp in a wig

works too.

Hi Dread

If you email the Mind Candy Customer service they should supply you with a new code - they are all different.

Cheers
