First of all, great job on finding this danteIL. Secondly, looks a bit like writing in the hair to me too. Maybe we could fill in all the shaded parts to total black and see if anything in the white areas jump out?

I noticed that if you go to "hole2.letyourcompassguideyou.com," that it brings up the THF site.

If you put anything before letthecompassguideyou it will go to the hanso site

For example;

[quote="Gus Raja"]Can we at least somehow take this face and layer it over a good picture of Marvin Candle to prove whether or not it's him. I'm sure someone has this capability.[quote]

I gave this a try on my photo editor. They do not seem to be the same image. The cut-up image of Marvin Candle (which, I think we all agree, is what is coming up in the LYCGY site "lawsuit" images) does not fit with this headshot...when I cut and pasted it over, the necklines do not line up correctly, really, and the forehead on this hole2 image is much higher. Also, the light source on Candle comes from the upper left, while on the hole2 image, it's coming from bottom right.

I tried it on a "cleaner" image of the complete Candle, which matched up perfectly with the LYCGY images, and it didn't seem to fit that, either.

Edit: The hairline/headshape of this second guy is much closer to the Cheever guy - actually any of the guys on second glance - on the Hanso Board of Directors page (although two are not wearing a tie, and the lightsource is wrong in all three, I'll admit. Getty sometimes has more than one image of a model, though.)

Is persephone going to go after the BOD next?

Don't know if this helps, but by making it smaller, it looks more like a photo than the lined image on hole2.

I can't compare it to any of the exec pictures at the moment, because Hansos blocked at my college. I'll do it when i get home, but if anyone else wants to have a look, feel free.

Not sure if the highlights in the hair are a message or not - it does kindof look like "I'm out" or even "I'm next" ? Confused

Here's the image, with just a bit of smoothing of the pixels done to it...

I'm 99% sure that the highlights is just the hair

I dont think that this would be a pic of Candle. We havent seen any pictures of him yet (unless I have missed it) so there is no reason for us to know of his existance (in context of the game so far) So beware going off after your own red herrings.

I don't think there's anything hidden in the picture. I photoshopped it to death and got nothing.

Also, if anyone want's to try something with q9

http://www.q9tech.com/eng/index.html
I can't download it here at work

Here's an online version that I can't get to work

FWIW, the "Speaker" at ABC's site has this to say this morning:

People have finally found this. But they're not looking at it correctly. I've been told by some that I can help too much, so I've decided to leave this one alone.

Interesting point 1) So he's working somewhat independently of the PMs?

Interesting point 2) So perhaps it's not a photoshop-type problem, because I agree that would be the obvious thing..

I see that someone has been trying to overlay the head with Marvin and such but, I saw mentioned and am wondering too, has anyone tried to put this head on to the body of the jacket and partial head that prints out from the lawsuit page?

Is it possible that this is Alvar who has been missing since 2002 and is now telling us that he is out, has escaped? I'm sure that would be too easy.

Thanks.

Notice that the image has little dots at the top. Perhaps by rotating the image, or by resetting where the starting point is, you'll get something different. I mean, it might be a simple binary code that will give us something interesting.

Our guy up there did say we're not looking at it correctly. Perhaps a rotate. I mean, it is made up, essentially, of binary information, of grey pixels and white pixels, right?

I'm sure you're right. If it looked more like Mittelwerk, though, I'd say that this could be 'hair apparent.' Razz

Bad pun. Good laugh, though. Earlier on, I was thinking that the hair gleam spelled Joop, but I was grasping at things because I couldn't de-steg.
