Putting two and two together, maybe when Hanso was last seen in Madrid, on December 31st, 2002 (I imagine a New Years Eve celebration), when he got up to speak he quoted his twin?

<facepalm>

There are no two and twos to put together there. Shocked

Some guy named Derek posed this as some sort of clue. Claims he knows the solution, but being very enigmatic.

Says we should go here and use this to solve
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.thehansofoundation.org/scripts/flogin.php

Also says that the picture is of Alvar, and that it lines up with the hidden portrait.

Could be oldfashioned BS

It is BS. Apparently, he's just pulled that URL out of a decompiled flash file, it's from the Hugh McIntyre / "the mouthpiece" login, and goes nowhere else.

I'll call it as BS. That page is used to check 'the mouth piece' password by flash files on the website

Hey everyone! This is my first post here in quite some time, I posted a lot during the MetaCortechs ARG - it's been so long! As a side note, who else was reminded of the Aquapolis website when the new Hanso site went online? Very Happy

I agree. And I'm not sure what "hidden portrait" the person is referring to, but I'm familiar with most of the hidden images in the swf files and the hole2 image doesn't match with any of them.

Well I agree that this supposed login page is probably BS, but I've been thinking about the pic and it strikes me that there something to the argument that it is supposed to represent A. Hanso..

In a metaphoric sense, Hanso is the 'faceless' man since no one has seen him in ages and there doesn't seem to be any clear pictures of him, so my reasoning is that the content of the picture itself is meaningless except to the extent that it 'represents' Hanso because it is just a fuzzy man w/out a face.

That doesn't mean that I know what the filename means, however Wink

Has anyone looked at the source of:

hole2.thehansofoundation.org/q9als2002.gif

It's a lot of gibberish to me, but perhaps someone else can make sense of it?

Last night it wasn't gibberish at all, just the img link to the gif.

Tonight I can't bring it up. Can you copy/paste?

At first glance I agree, but I think that Peck has just a bit more of a receding hairline than hole2/q9als2002.

its way too much to copy/paste. What I mean is actually typing

http://hole2.thehansofoundation.org/q9als2002.gif

and looking at the source of that, not just

http://hole2.thehansofoundation.org

Ohh - that's not "source" code (and Internet Explorer won't even let you view the source for an image file).

I suspect you're just looking at the ASCII code of the gif file.

Im pretty sure its already been established that the source of the gif contains no clues :/
