Labyrinth - The Puzzle Files Hey everyone - long time no see.
There was a new site launched yesterday, www.thepuzzlefiles.com - it's another one of those puzzle contest sites. The first contest is the Labyrinth, and I need help!

I love these things but they drive me crazy. Stuck on 5th puzzle.
For the first puzzle you just need to change the word your given a few times. It tells you how you need to change it and how many letters in each word.

It's alright. I figured it out no sooner than I had posted! Post and solve tends to work a lot. So i shall try it again...
What the hell is with the hippo cages?

This is a good one. It's just a simple rebus. With the cages just write down what you see. There are two words to describe what you see.

Stitch up Copy the picture into paint and enlarge it so you can see better.
Step 1 is to count the number of strands each thread goes over the top of. Do this for the cross threads first and then for the up and down ones.
I won't give any more away yet.

How about D1? I don't recognize any but the cartoon characters. Can anyone give me the names so I can work the rest out?

Oh, so you're at the same place I am. The forum hints have something about aligning the names with the pictures and extracting letters, which massively confuses me. I was about to try it, but I have to get off now.

A kind person on another forum gave me the names. That has given me 8 letters but nothing useful yet.
Got it. Google is your friend.
