Just recently a "fan" has been added to the profile of slashdot user 227664. This user 113389363 has this to say in his profile:
Code:
113389363 (976541)
113389363
  (email not shown publicly)
I am not even supposed to exist, but it has been too long and he is not happy.
This will bypass i2.

Find my buddy for further instruction.

So is there something about i2 still needing solving yet?

[spec]
Acctually he's been on his fans list for quite a while.
If you look at the progress.txt you can see that 0.5 points was deducted from i2 too i3, this is most probably because that nobody solved the i2 pic before i3.
So as it says, he isn't happy because the time it took and it says bypass which probably means that there is/was some other way to find this user and indirectly find user 227664 that way instead, he's on his friend(buddy) list.[/spec]

I just got home from work, typed in 227664, and then 974444, and I got something. I took a screenshot and attached it.

I cant really prove it though, since that webpage now redirects to http://www.xccr.com/toolate.aspx. But I got us points! 0 points, but hey, it's something different. Smile

I just got that to work also using the same two numbers...I didn't claim the points because it mentioned a prize pool and I think we could do better than 0 points, but yippee for something new.

Nice work! Now, if we can only find the meaning behind:
Code:
But what about 422401216364?

Zor: cool!

Frankly, I'm tempted to claim the points, even though its at 0, just to see what happens.

Okay, great, we've found something that works, completely by accident apparently. Now we should figure out why it works, as I would assume that the PM wants us to solve each puzzle.

xccr was acting a little wierd, so i checked in the images dir.... i4.gif

it is a sideways image seemingly displaying
Code:
/./~dDwyMDYNTIwNzMOzsmUPIfvctxrGnrbRqhbJQ

/./~ seems to be indicating "slashdot.org/~" which is the prefix for user pages

Upon close inspection, the characters are separated into groups. A 'group' has all it's characters adjacent to the next. But there are 1 pixel wide breaks bewteen certain characters. I'll attach an illustration.

In the event we're following the speculation that this is another slashdot username, be aware that they are limited to 20 chars in length.
