It took me about 20 hours just to get the response that my request for the download had been received. Hopefully I'll get the link in the next few days.

Really? Mine came to my inbox, and I use stupid hotmail, too. Might want to check your filters. Smile

Anyway, loving this new client! No problems so far, and it's churning out a work unit in less than 3 minutes! Awesome work, you guys. Very Happy

Nope. It wasn't filtered out at all...went straight into my inbox when I got it. It looks like it was originally sent back then, but maybe my ISPs email server was refusing connections from theirs for a while or something...oh well.

As long as I eventually get the email with the link -- that's the important one.

Just installed Mono on my new MacBook to try to run it here as well...although this means I will need both the upgrade AND the full install...for each machine. I guess I'll just wait and see what I get in the email before worrying about it.

Don't even know for sure if the Mono stuff will runn correctly on these Intel based Macs anyway.

For all the Mac people out there:

I wanted to get the overall progress of the Assault on my Dashboard to keep an eye on the overall stats.

Geek Image is a widget that does exactly what I want. It takes the address of an image and puts its on the Dashboard. You can set the update frequency as well. It looks great... almost 8%... w00t!

So I set mine to grab this image: http://mikesroom.org/13labour/avatar.png. Set it to "use image size" and change the update frequency to something like every 10 or 20 minutes.

Maybe I should have asked Guin before I posted this... Embarassed

I checked my spam folder (Gmail), but didn't find anything.

Should we go back to the website and reapply for the download if we haven't gotten a link yet?

Does the new client have proxy support? I haven't been able to get it going at work. The previous versions worked just fine.

Having tested the client exstensively and slowly released it we have made the decision to make it general release again.

Please visit 13th Labour for details

Many thanks to all that have helped and for the patience of those that had to wait for an email link.

in reltation to proxy support there is information in the read me text and if memory serves me well it does now have proxy support.

Yeah, I'm using it behind a proxy, if you used the upgrade you need to reset the proxy settings though (put them at the bottom of the config.txt file) because the config file was updated in the release.

And I didn't mean the dl link was sent to my junk mail, just the confirmation email saying I'd sent the message.

What have you unzipped it, I believe it still needs to be located at C:\13labour, correct me if I'm wrong though.

I got that yesterday when I downloaded it. I had to go to the Windows Update site and install the .net 1.1 pack as Guin suggested. It's now running fine, been through about 100 units today.
