[Update] Aglaura News 5/26 - Masks Stolen from Library

I checked earlier today/yesterday and that update wasnt up yet.. so its relatively new

Ok.. so if we look here to Dale's jounal, we are reminded that these masks had some role in the previous version of reality - aka the dreams. Now I cant rememebr what that importance was.. I'll go check the guide again.,. unless someone can update me.

Judging by Sarah's feelings of how their creation got her through a "difficult period in (her) life".. and their existance in bother realities.. I think its safe to assume they have an important role in this universe. Maybe something mystical? I suppose it all depends on what their original purpose was...

I also wonder what that difficult period was. Perhaps Sarah of this reality also spent some time missing? Soemthing?

I'm going to go email Sarah now and offer my sympathies for her loss and offer any help I can give.

As a newcomer to Aglaura, I've emailed Sarah to ask if pictures of the masks are online anywhere - can't look out for them unless we know what they look like.
Do any 'old-timers' know what they're like?

Last night I did the same thing in my email to the LibrarySPLATaglauranj.org.

I think one mask was an artifact/swag item that was given to a player in CTW1. But this is a new reality, new timeline, so we might have new masks that may or may not be part of the 12 mystical items (the stones, the wand, the mask, etc).

SPEC Glasses turned on:
1) Perhaps these will be real world items that will end up being in different places around the US and we will have clues and puzzles that leads us on treasure hunts to find them?
2) Or maybe they will have some power required to summon The Wish and the treasure hunt is more virtual and when we have located them we send Sarah to retrieve them?
3) Or Don Marzano had them stolen because he is going to use them in some scheme (is his business success a result of some supernatural power or is he still "connected")?

I sent an email about the masks also, but my email went to Sam. As webmaster, I'm hoping Sam can post descriptions or pictures of the masks. I told her I do a lot of online auction browsing and I would most certainly be on the look out for them, but needed to know what to look for.
