Kevin forwarded some of the information about the rituals that you discovered. As
best we can make out, the first ritual ("To hollow the clay") looks like this:
Pierce the skin of the world
Barricade earth's blood
Stand where travel ends
Enter the empty house
All in the presence of the mountain on the water

The phrase "mountain on the water" seemed familiar to me, so I looked back through the stuff I got from Charles. Sure enough, a doodle in the margin of his notes links the phrase to the symbol that was on
those clay tablets. I think this means I can use the broken tablet that Schyler
brought to me (thanks, Schyler, whoever you are!) to focus the energy of the ritual.

I'm going to complete the first ritual as slowly as possible to buy you some time to
perform the antipode. I know you don't have tablets yourselves, but Charles always told me that the symbol is the most important thing in magic, so you can probably
just draw the symbol on a piece of paper and use that. If you take pictures as you
perform the ritual and email them to me, I should be able to use the energy they
embody to use the ritual of sacrifice as a binding ritual rather than the freeing
ritual that the evil spirit thinks it is.

I'm going to tell John that we're on our own now, so don't talk to him! I hope that
this will put that... doppelganger? Nemesis? Whatever... off his guard and make
the final switch easier.

That spirit will have to contact me to set up a time and place for the ritual of
sacrifice. Hopefully, we can figure out a way to do this and save John before that
happens. If not... I don't know if I can just give John up. I know I hated him for
monopolizing Charles, but he's really not a bad kid and he's in over his head. I
just... I hope you can help.


So we really need to figure out exactly what this antipode requires because it sounds like end game is approaching.

 		So the ritual involves five steps:

1. Pierce the skin of the world
2. Barricade earth's blood
3. Stand where travel ends
4. Enter the empty house
5. All in the presence of the mountain on the water

We have hints for the antipode versions of 1,4(I think) and 5.

1's antipode version. is "clothing the world" "agriculture" "healing a wound". So maybe planting a seed would work?

2 doesn't seem to a hint associated with it. I'm not sure what the earth's blood could be. But whatever it is we have to let is flow freely.

3 seems a bit easier. Maybe the antipode requires standing where travel begins? i.e. one's home?

4 has hints: the empty house is supposed to be the desert, so we are supposed to go to a garden.

And finally, the hints say there is no negation for the mountain on water. So we need to carry the little piece of clay (or paper with the pi-like symbol) throughout the ritual.

I'm not sure this post has been all that helpful, but I think we need to get a dialogue going on what exactly needs to be done.

I'm assuming earth's blood is either magma or water

If its water and we're un-barricading it, would spraying a hose work?

If its magma, could it relate to that volcano in indonesia thats about to blow up?

I'm assuming that its water, which would go with sortie's concepts... plant a flower, at garden near your house, spray it with a hose, and hold the pi-like symbol. We could get all of that into one picture and email it to sue.

 		yeah I reckon watering a house plant covers everything as well, or at least it's worth a try...
