Aubrey

Abri? No mention of Aubrey in Charles's house, but I did find this.

I don't recognize any of those words at all but Abri and Aubrey might be similar words. Do you think there's a connection there or am I barking up the wrong tree?

While I was at Charles's house, I thought about the first part of the ritual. "Pierce the skin of the world." I've glued together one of the clay pieces that Schyler gave me and I put it down on the ground. I felt like a fool doing this, but I then dug a little hole and stuck a stick in it. That's piercing right? I even said that word three times. Nothing seemed to happen. The heavens didn't open up. There wasn't a big boom.

When I got home just now John was laying on his back on the couch. He was staring up at the ceiling, moaning. I ran to his side thinking he had done something to himself. I asked him what was wrong, and he whined, "My chest hurts."

That's when I got close enough to see that there was a dark spot on his shirt. He was bleeding from his chest! There's a hole in his chest. I swear to god, there's a hole big enough that he should be gushing blood. It's not though. It's oozing... no, it's weeping blood.

Here's where it gets even weirder. I checked my email, and Alisdair Park had sent me some pictures.

As soon as I opened the pictures John gasped. He was sitting up. He looked at me and said, "Something moved."

I looked at his chest again. It was hard to tell through the blood, but the wound looked almost closed.

So it appears that pictures of watering a plant over the "pi" symbol is what we should be doing...nice work ALISDAIR...

The list of other names that Abri has used is interesting.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Schultz means something close to "mayor" in German, but the others all seem to mean shelter (riparo = Italian, abri = French, rifugejo = Esperanto, and perlindungan = Malay (I think)).

The Akan (African language group) word for shelter is "ahintabea" or "ehintabea" depending on which precise language you're talking about.

Thus I have sent off emails to

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ehintabeaSPLATgmail.com and ahintabeaSPLATgmail.com

to see if we can get the key from him.

Perlindungan is Indonesian for protection.
Riparo is Italian for shelter/refuge/safe place.
Abri is French for haven/shelter.
Schultz is German for cover/shelter/protect.

The paper says to remove all vowels from the key to get his current email, so i am assuming that the correct word in Akan will be the key to the one time pad. I have tried Akan words for shelter, refuge, protect but there are still others to try.
