writing

I can see some writing on his cheek. Something followed by a very distinct E. It's particularly visible when you do a Photoshop Gaussian blur.

Amlocke, how did you get that picture? Ever since hole3 was discovered, the pic has been broken....

re: t9agen75.gif

Can't get the image to come up on hole3...so thanks amlocke for posting it.

Can we combine this with the hole2 image? It looks at first glance like the t9agen75.gif image is the q9als2002.gif from hole2, with another "layer" of info added. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

overlay

I did a preliminary overlay and did not notice anything, but it still begs some experimentation. It is not the same picture, but it looks like it might very well be the same person. The scaling of the picture is almost identical.

And just for clarification... I saw that picture on hole3 before the link broke. It apparently was only up for a few minutes.

I got to the site quickly, hitting f5 on p's site.

As soon as it updated, I went to hole3 and downloaded it immediately.

Solution

The Hole 2 graphic only had white and 60% grey. This graphic appeared to have 4: 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% grey. But on the side, there's a solid column of 30% grey. And next to that was a one pixel line of 47% grey.

That seemed odd.

So, I separated out the colors into different images and found.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the 47% grey band, there was also something at 45% grey that Photoshop's magic wand selected it. It says "save me" in the eye on the right.
