That's good, but something different happened today. I tried two more parts of the ritual today: "Barricade earth's blood" and "Stand where travel ends." There's a little stream next to the bookstore, and I spent my morning break there. I built a little dam out of sticks, bark, and old paperbacks that had been sitting in the back room for years. There's a dead end near my house, so I stood there with the clay tablet for about half an hour, saying "Emeth" every few minutes. I figured that would be enough time. "Right" probably isn't the correct world. I went inside and found John on the couch. He's a mess. The rituals I just did have him moving in slow motion. He's talking "liiiiiiike thhhhiiiisssss." I feel so sorry for him. I can't understand most of what he's trying to say, but can tell that he's complaining about not being able to feel his feet. He says they are missing, but, they are right there. I even tried pricking him with a pin to prove it, but he wouldn't believe me.

I opened the picture you sent me and checked on John. He's still moving slowly, still complaining, but the wound on his chest has closed. It left a really ugly scar. I think we need to counter every single step. Please send me pictures of the reverse of everything I'm doing.


Sue's doing rituals quickly now... we desprately need to get more pictures to her.

 		OK I guess we can't use the one picture for all three then.

I'll send a picture of a running tap (bit of a stretch for the opposite of a dam, but it might work) and my house for the opposite of "where travel ends". Can't send them until tonight though, let's hope it's not too late.

EDIT: OK pics sent sent some of a running tap, and of an emptying sink for antipode of barricade, and some of my front door for anti-Journey's end.

P.S. I think the next Cypher mystery should be what happened to everyone as it feels like there's only a couple of us left playing this.

 		Just wanted to reassure you Alisdair that I am still following along, but work has prevented me from taking pics. Hopefully I can get them out tomorrow. Still working on that email address though...
