And different, compared to the original image.

Well that explains where the clue for the WWPDP press release comes from. If you overlay the old image with the new one you get...

So we've lost SAVE ME, but I think we've got something new. In the second one, I noticed what looked like SO, SD, or even 50 on the left cheek, but when I saw the overlay, I realized it was something more.

So what does D20 mean? Or will there be more later?

What D20 means:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
D20 is the formula for heavy water, because it contains deuterium instead of regular hydrogen.

The update it leads to is being discussed here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15203

Wow. I totally read that entire thread before I even started looking at the new hole3 pic, and just totally missed the part about them already figuring that out. I feel...unobservant. Sad

Actually we didn't. JPEG compression did.

It's a GIF, not a JPEG file. They intentionally removed it.

Hmm, my guess is that "SAVE ME" meant that we should save the picture to our harddrives before it was removed.

(btw first post, I'm new to this type of thing)

I was talking about my overlay picture. Before I save it I can see it.

verify with Photoshop CS2

Could someone with PS CS2 please verify my results? I took the new image (with out 'save me') and ran the sketch-crome filter on it. This was in the right eye.

That looks like an alien face, and I'm not talking about the kind from Mexico.
