Anyway. Link:

Prof Whiting

And we know that he was part of Mythosphere. He admitted so himself. I read over the mythosphere pages m1 - m6 and it's more about myth and legend there, too. So we MIGHT be onto something.

But isn't the Whittier College site OOG?

Is Prof Whiting going to be part of this reality? Maybe in the comic book Dale will mention him. I noticed Missingmanuscript.com is still "live" so that may also show up in the "story".

Wasn't Professor Whiting affiliated with Penn State University, anyways?
His site is still live though, even if it looks like it hasn't been updated. So he may make an appearance anyways...

I think so. I just mentioned Prof Whiting because of the coincidence in the names Smile

Finally it's in game!

The 3-0-7 group is finally in game!

See this journal entry of Dale's

Dale wrote:

But no one was there, it was empty. All that was there, inside and on the grassy ground of the tent, was the symbol I had created for my comic, the ring from the 3-0-7 group, in a burning emblem on the ground. And then I woke up.

For some reason, even though I knew she wouldn't be there, I went into Meg's old room to check on her. She stays there when she visits me on weekends, and I use it for a spare computer room at times too, but I hadn't been in there since last weekend, when Meg was here. I was surprised to see the computer screen on, and not in the endless looping of the screen saver it should have been showing.

There on the screen was the 3-0-7 ring, on the main page of some website I'd never seen before, and that I know I didn't surf to on that computer. 307

This symbol did not exist until I created it, from my dreams, for the Chasing The Wish comic book story. I can tell you what inspired it, what research I did based on the things I saw in my dreams, and why I chose the name 3-0-7 for the group from the comic. I have no idea how it has found its way into the woods around Aglaura, or into this guy's website or subconscious. I have no clue as to why it would be on the computer in Meaghan's room.

But I think I know where to start getting answers. I think I know whose website that is.

Looking over this site a second time, I took a peek in the source code.
There's a rectangular button just above the circle on the first page. It links to the same page as the first dot on the circle, though. Perhaps it's a clue that something's hidden in the picture itself, on that spot?

Anyone have Photoshop?

Circles

Almost all of the dots have something that they go to.

Only a couple don't.

The first two on the '7' side.

Yes, I know, I was saying the rectangle links to the same page as the top dot on the 3 side. I was wondering if the space enclosed by the rectangle held a clue when photoshopped.

It's just above the symbol on the first page.

Picture

I did ENLARGE the photo and take a look at the top, where it does seem there's some morse code. It's likely just a result of the JPG compression, but then again, maybe not.

The letters translate to "MAG".... however... that's my interpretation of what are dots and what are dashes.

Looked at it another way-- some of the "segments" of the "morse code" have blocks under them that seemed to me to tell me where the dots and dashes were to seperate into words. So I tried that, also. Only got "MATN" out of that. There's no way to make the A an E, I don't think. So it may not be a clue to "Meg".

Meg would be -- . --.

This is probably a dead-end, but that's what I see.

7 dots. Connect each one of them with lines to the other. 57 spaces.

More and more speculation: That the 7 and 3 are the 10 of the Sefiroth. The 7 heavens and the heavens of heavens...or the 10 firmaments of Sefiroth.

The numbers of God are 3 and 7... and the symbol in the middle should be earth and lightning... I think... So maybe the symbol is trying to convey God's power over his creation, heaven and earth.

[SPEC]

Could the nurse guy be Wes in this (CTW2) reality?

From april13.html, we read:

Quote:
He kept looking at me though until I got up to leave, and he said something about my long hair as I walked out.

And in this picture Wes looks to have long hair.

S.

In this reality, Wes is dead.

The Aglaura Library wrote:
Wes Keeler - An author whose untimely demise in 2003 has spurred renewed interest in his work. In the early 1990s he wrote two books about the New Jersey pine barrens and locality, and we are lucky to have autographed editions as well as some of the original artwork that Mr. Keeler produced for the books.

I didn't exactly mean it that way. After CTW1 many characters have different personalities and maybe Wes had to forget who he was and everyone he
knew and everyone had to forget him. Just a suggestion nothing more. I see no proof that Wes is really dead just the same as there is no reasoning for
why Sarah, Diana, Meghan and JD are now alive and other characters (such as The Don's sons) are not. A wish can do strange things. Who knows?
This mystery is what makes the game so much fun. But from now on I'll keep my mouth shut and let you take center stage.

I'm sorry, didn't mean to sound rude.

I can see what ya mean with the personalities though. It's entirely possible that he'd have the same personality, et al. Just the way you put it without explaining what you meant the first time...

Another way of looking at it is that perhaps it's Todd, Wes's son?

Anything is possible right now.
